  6. I'd rather leave the stripes on in case thats what another person likes, they are easy to remove though with a hair dryer to warm up the vynal. I do have the OEM spoiler in the garage though.
  7. So everyone keeps telling me. But I've got nothing more I want to tinker with on the Supra and fancy a change. I'll n doubt be back looking for one within the year

Being the GZ model it has all the toys, Cruise Control, Full Leather Active Aero front lip spoiler, electric drivers seat, etc Tax until November 2010 Test until 23rd November 2010 Selling due to wanting a change to a GTO. 9. Well I've tightened a the 2 cables, changed the gearbox oil and pulled off and replaced a few vacume hoses, the car seems to be shifting ok but I've not had a chance to try it properly for an extebded period. Fingers crossed though.
  10. Thats brilliant thanks. I'll have a look and see what I can see.
  11. I've had the battery off the car over night a few times to reset everything and the problems are still the same
  12. Just checked it again, with a white cloth this time and yes it is red, sorry.
  13. Hi there guys. After much reading of the posts I could find with the search function I'm no further forward with what to do next. Car: - 1993 GZ BPU+ Symptom When going hard the car will not change up its gears, it goes to the red line and sticks there. It does this in all gears not just 3rd to 4th. If I back off to nothing then re apply the throttle it will change up its gears. When I dive normal every day it changes up no problems at all. When in manual mode the same symptoms are there just as they would be if it was in auto mode. The car has also started to stick at random revs, some times it sticks at 4k RPM others at 3k RPM or goes to the red line and sticks there or any combination there off. Here is the good part, this does not all happen at once, they are all faults the car does, but when it does them is completely random. Most of the time it runs great. Checks so far: - Oil level fine having checked it hot and gone through all the gears etc. No fault code being displayed at all. Vacume hoses that I can find all look in good order. The oil does not smell burned and has a nice golden colour to it. Well guys thats the story so far. I'm not sure what to do next. I had thought of changing the gearbox oil, not a full change or a flush, just dropping the old from the drain plug and doing a refill. Cuting the wires to cure fault code 42 to see if that helps, even though its not showing any fault codes. yep I'm at the grasping at any idea time Thanks in advance guys. Darren
  14. I have to admit, I really rather like that.
  15. I'll not be permanently fitting it. All I want it for is to check the oil pressure for a while as the engine has just had some work done on it. Thus not wanting to spend a fortune
  16. Mornin guys. Have any of you tried one of these or fitted similar? It seem to easy to fit so I'm guessing it will be a bugger. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380136062843&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT I thought you needed to fit a plate between your engine and oil filter then fit a sensor into there Any comments very welcome
  17. Just seen this m8. What a bstard. Did you happen to kill an albatros with a nun using a mirror you just broke as a weapon? I'd start looking in autotrader now as thats what the sods do to get a value for what they are going to pay out for the car.
  18. Paint all good, no cracks and mounts all there
