  1. Yeah sorry, it's just the gear lever. Apparently it's just an attachement over the top of the original bracket. Ok, well at the moment I'm still going to look for a 2nd hand one, but could you pm me the price of a new one. Cheers
  2. I've contacted Jezz about one 2nd hand, but he doesn't have one in. Anyone know where I can get hold of one?
  3. Well is it worth getting a 2nd hand stock box or going all out and getting a new one?
  4. Ok. I just hope if I go through the trouble of going back to stock that it won't be a waste of time as the stick is just out of adustment.
  5. I have a quick shift box put on my Supra. It was there when I bought it, but it's never been very smooth. It clunks into second almost every time and to get it in reverse you need two hand to pull it well over to the right. All the other gears seem fine. The car has only done 54k miles so the gearbox should be fine. Can you adjust the quck shift part? Is it worth me trying to get an original gear stick and bracket? Should only be 4 bolts to remove it. Or should I think about getting another quick shift. Either way it's starting to get on my nerves driving around town clunking everytime I pull away from a junction. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
  6. lol. Been there with the whole fly issue. Good job on the bumpers. I'd personally finish it off with a large buffer and some T-cut. (or something similar). I've see it work wonders on old paintwork! Especially red.
  7. I think it looks low enough, plus if you lower it more the ride becomes quite uncomfortable
  8. All fixed. :D:D:D It was just a bad connection on the coilpack causing a misfire. I've fixed it for the moment, but I'm going to order some new connectors. I'm sooooo glad it wasn't something serious in the end.
  9. That is a great help! 2 of the white plastic bits have broken into pieces. I noticed them lying at the bottom by the spark plugs. The others may be helped by refurbishing them before they go too.
  10. WOW! That is all I can say! That has to be the best colour I have ever seen a Supra! I think the car would look nicer with a new set of wheels. A nice set of chrome alloys would finish that off with a nice sparkle (although I might be biased)
  11. Well having a closer look it's definately not the intercooler pipe. So as my car had been misfiring on the 2nd turbo I thought it could have something to do with the spark plugs. I've just got some Denso Irudium IK22's. I thought I'd check the coilpacks and noticed that there seems to be a bit of a dodgy connection on one of them. This could quite possibily be the problem. I'm going to have another look tomorrow. Let hope that's it.
  12. Ok. Well lets hope that's the case. I'm unable to drive it. It just keeps cutting the power all the time and idles roughly. So I'm having to walk everywhere
  13. So was your Supra doing the same thing with the accelerator? dropping just before the turbo? If it was then I'm just going to bite the bullet and get an ignitor pack ordered tomorrow.
  14. Oh I see, so your Supra isn't fixed yet then. The only other things that concerns me is that it seems to cut out when the 1st turbo kicks in. I managed when pressing very lightly on the accelerator to get nearly 3,500 rpm before the engine cutting out. When press firmly it cuts out almost immediately. Could it mean there is something up with part of the car that controls the turbos? I guess I don't want to splash out a load of cash to then find it isn't the problem. Anyone got any more understanding on the beeps I got from the system management?
  15. Thanks for the offer anyway. I'll give Steve a call. Jurgen-Jm-Imports: How much did you pay for yours? (if you don't mind me asking)
  16. Ok. Well is there anyone near by that 's willing to help me out? I live in Swanage, Dorset. Where is a good place to source a new ignitor pack? How much did you pay?
  17. The nearest thing to my lights is the ignition signal. Maybe it is the ignitor pack. Anyone know a good place to get one? Is it worth getting it new or will a second hand one be ok?
  18. I'm almost none the wiser. My light was flashing: beep pause beep beep beep beep pause beep beep beep beep pause beep beep long pause Doesn't seem to match any of the codes I have
  19. Yeah. I'll look into into it. I'm going to give it a good inspection. Trouble is I'm hoping not to have to take it to a garage otherwise I'll need a tow. Don't really want to drive it like this to be honest. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35920 Cheers. I'll have a look here for the error codes.
  20. The hoses are big. I didn't manage to get back outside as I've been very busy taking calls for my business. So am I checking the 2 large pipes or other small ones? It's quite dificult to see. If I start the engine will I hear any noise coming from the pipe if it's split? Please excuse my stupid questions, but I'm trying to learn
  21. I think I'm going to need to. I'm going back outside now to have another look.
  22. Where is the ignitor pack? Is there something I can look for?
  23. No joy Took off the cover in the wheel arch to look at the intercooler. It's definately on there good and solid.
