  1. Not even a phone photo? I'm missing my carpet, so definately interested.
  2. Any room for one more? Really interested! Let me know.
  3. Yeah the bumper as it's an import comes pre colour coded. £693.11 + VAT. Glad I'm not paying for it! As it happens for the amount the garage is going to quote to get it all replaced I might get an aftermarket rear bumper, front bumper and intercooler for the same price! But hey, I wouldn't want to rip anyone off........
  4. Just been to Weymouth to have the car looked over by scene of crime officers as the guy is being an idiot and not admitting it. However he has a green car and has damage in the same place. Once the paint has been examined he will be charged as he said no-one else has access to the car. Just checked with Toyota and the back bumper comes pre painted and costs £814 inc VAT! The guy better pay! I'll know very soon who it is. Once i know....
  5. Quite like this rear bumper or even this one: http://www.replikit.co.uk/ebay/toyota/TTSUPTRR.jpg
  6. Can't find any images of the rear skirt I have, nevermind where to buy one. Mind you it gives me a good excuse to go shopping As the spray gun is out I might go for a new front bumper as I'm there. That's how to make bad news into good news!
  7. Cheers guys. Actually goes anyone know what make the rear skirt is? There are some photos of the car if you click on the link in my signature. I didn't put the skirt on. I always thought it was Veilside, but I could be wrong. Trying to find it online, but so far I can't find one that matches mine. Just want to check it out so I can tell the garage where I'm getting it repaired. They are going to quote for a new bumper and skirt. If it works out expensive I might go for a new bumper. Maybe a Veilside CII bumper? Anyone got any ideas?
  8. Woke up this morning with my remote bleeping telling me my alarm had gone off. Very soon afterwards I had a phonecall from my Mum telling me that the police were round the house saying that my car had been hit by another driver who decided to drive off. B*****D! The good news came because someone walking past saw it and flagged down a police car giveing them the cars reg plate etc. So the police will be catching up with them soon. Fingers crossed they have insurance!
  9. I'll have look into it. If it works it works. Thanks!
  10. I'm thinking of trying that, but I have soldered the wires on to one of the light terminals as instructed to do so. So it might light up most of them. To be honest I don't want to rip my dash out again to find it makes it worse. Figured speedhut must have had similar queries before. Might be a simple answer. Who knows
  11. supra steveo: Any chance you can ask Speedhut what they normally do with reverse El-glow dials. It's a real pain to drive at night when you can't see the needle. I'm in 2 minds whether or not to change back to my original dials.
  12. Yeah i'd agree. If anyone has the answer please let me know.
  13. Yeah I managed it. Just a little worried about bending it. Got mine all fitted now.
  14. Got my dials fitted yesterday. Look great. The only problem for me is that as I have the reverse El-glow I can't see my needles very clearly at night. I might have a look to see if putting some clear bulbs in the back will light up the needles.
  15. Oh, and good news. You can't see the patent pending text
  16. OK..........I've managed to get them on. I was nervous about bending the dials, but if you tuck the hole in the centre of the dial under the black centre part of the needle it will just about go on. Hope this makes sence. I'll post some photos shortly.
  17. I'd be more concerned with actually getting the dials on without removing the needles. :( I've had a go at fitting them with no joy. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=138834&page=21 See if you have any better ideas.
  18. I'm thinking about maybe trimming the short end of the needle. I just hope it doesn't mess up the balance of the needle..... Can't cut the dials, and don't want to remove the needles. I don't see what choice I have. Anyone managed to fit a set of these dials yet?
  19. That's the problem. I've just fitted it over like that to show what won't go through the hole. I've been sliding the long end through first, but the hole isn't big enough to fit the centre of the dial and the little bit I've circled through the hole. :(
  20. Now that i have the new dials I went to fit them and i can't get the dials on I'm really hoping that patent pending text isn't visable. Looks like it might be.......... See the below image: The one side of the needles catch on the dials. I really don't want to remove the dials as this can give you a serious headache afterwards. Anyone got any ideas?
  21. Received my dials this morning Been a long time coming, but they look good. Just need to get them fitted now
  22. Well I know the clutch has been replaced about 6 months ago with a stock clutch. They removed a racing clutch as it was too heavy when used everyday. So I'm hoping it's not the clutch.
