  1. Where about's in Devon are you? I live in Dorset, so hopefully it might not be too far.
  2. Yeah your right! Hopefully now the big intercooler on mine gives it away
  3. Think I may have found a winner Well hopefully if it's still for sale! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=2264205#post2264205
  4. So this is the car it's coming off? http://xs132.xs.to/xs132/08432/image460796.jpg.xs.jpg £65 for the spoiler inc delivery? If it is I might have it off you
  5. Is it the darker red spoiler? i.e same as my Supra? Any photos?
  6. How about this I found! Yuck! Yeah not bad Anyone know of a red original spoiler for sale?
  7. Anyone got any recommendations for a nice spoiler to suit my bodykit? Something smaller! Photos would be good
  8. Coolkits from Ebay. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I'm glad people like the finished bumper though
  9. I bought it off Ebay, but if you see the previous page you'll see why I wouldn't recommend anyone getting one from there! Hours and hours of work went into it to get it to fit
  10. Yeah I have plans to get rid of the spoiler. It was on the car when I bought it. Bit too big for me!
  11. I also went to the trouble of ordering a HID xeon light kit to make my lights extra bright! Then I purchased some clear indicators to fit in my new bumper. Had a new numberplate made up on vinyl too! (totally illegal) Now time to go in the spray shop!............................... AND OUT SHE COMES! ONLY TOOK 6 MONTHS! Now I'm going to be working on fitting a straight through (1 silencer) 3" exhast system in the next few weeks!
  12. Still not happy that I'd finished what I set to do I had some lenses made for my lights as they had faided and turned yellow (typical Supra problem) A while ago I joined in on the group buy, so i decided now that it was time to fit the lenes Ok, so most people just melt the silicone, but mine have obviously be refurbished before and stuck down with something very strong! OUT COMES THE GRINDER! Ok, so if getting the light off was that hard, it's not going to go on easy either. I was right about that for sure! Sikaflex 291 by now is my best friend! Sikaflex if rubbed with a wet finger gives a smooth rubber effect, so no need to paint it afterwards.
  13. So I start to fit the front bumper. Not too back. Some minor work, but effectively goes on no problems: Love the new look
  14. Ok, so by now most have given up and gone home, but I'm on a mission! Next the HDi front mounted intercooler. Should have been straight forward, but whoever packed it decided to pack 2 wrong hoses! Ok, so now I pissed off! NO TURBO for 3 weeks. Damn! Anyway. Finally get it fitted.
  15. As you can see it's miles off! So now I was stuck. What the hell was I going to do Mate came up with an idea. Sounded crazy, but it might just work. Split it in half with an grinder, fit it, clamp it together with bits of wood and screws, then fibreglass it back together! Check out the bits of wood! Then the fibreglass matting, P40 and finally P38 rubbing compound till you get to this: Then it was all lightly sanded off
  16. Ok, so it's been a long while since I updated you all on what has been going on........... Where do I start? HIT & RUN Well the guy who for a long while didn't own up to doing it was taken to court on the 14th Jan '09! Good news as this has been going on now for nearly 6 months. He pleaded GUILTY! £370 fine, £50 court fees and 7 points on his licience later and I'm going to get my £600 excess + expenses back Unfortunately I still don't know for certain who did it, although I have a rough idea. THE GARAGE The go ahead was given back in September for the work to be done, so for now I would be claiming on my insurance. I spoke with a guy called Andy Merry who agreed to do the work. Heard he'd done a good job on other friends cars. So looking a various sources I finally settled on what I was going have fitted. As I'd mentioned in previous posts I was looking at replacing the back bumper, front bumper and maybe getting a front mounted intercooler. Well I ordered the front bumper off Ebay, then picked it up from Blanford. Easy. So I thought I'd do the same for the back bumper, but this came from a different source and needed to be posted. BIG mistake! The bumper didn't fit properly and Andy Merry refused to fix it and suggested I go back to the supplier, who was having none of it. He told me that they could do it, but I would have to bring my car to London. Given that there was no way I could fit it in my Supra there was no way this was going to happen, so I decided to give it a go. Here is where the fun started! Here is me a friend offering it up!
  17. Got mine the other day. Very pleased My car is going into the garage to have a new front bumper put on, so I'll take the chance to fit the lenes then.
  18. Good news. The guy has admitted it! :d Hopefully it will go through the insurance and I'll get my car fixed!
  19. Ok, well I do sometimes visit friends in Milton Keynes, so if I'm in the area I'll contact you first to see if you still have it.
  20. Sorry mate, you did say Friday. I'll wait patiently
  21. Can I pay with paypal? I'll send payment straight away.
  22. Hmmm, might be a bit far to travel for a mat. lol
