These are very hard to come by and are normally only available in pairs (there are only 2 of these injectors per engine on an rx7). Condition/Mileage:- See images, one of the end caps has cracked. Have not been flow tested so would recommend before fitting. Thanks for all the kind words! -
Make: Toyota Supra Model: SZ Manual Year: 1993 Facelift: No Mileage: 123,437km (76,700miles) Tax remaining: N/A MOT remaining: Expires 25/02/16 Service history: See below Car's location: Glasgow Modifications: See below I’m reluctantly selling my 1993 Toyota Supra SZ. Imported to the UK on the 25/10/05, and purchased by myself on the 12/05/13, I am the 3rd registered owner. After selling my DC5 Integra Type R, I hunted high and low for the right car and eventually found this low mileage NA manual. I bought the car with the intentions of carrying out a few aesthetic modifications (wheels, suspension, interior etc…) but the car has gone way beyond that. This is one of the most comprehensive NA-T swaps you’ll encounter. Spec as follows: Engine & Gearbox 2JZGE Engine (65k miles) OEM TT cylinder head gasket ARP head studs Garage Whifbitz T4 304 stainless steel manifold Borg Warner S360 T4 0.88 undivided turbocharger Borg Warner V band kit, Borg Warner oil feed / drain fittings Tial 44mm wastegate Apex front mount intercooler 3” downpipe (Tapped for 1/8”NPT EGT sensor) Decat pipe External screamer pipe 3” Exhaust (tapped for Wideband sensor, o2 sensor) TT inlet manifold, throttle body, throttle cable & power steering reservoir RX7 550cc Purple top injectors (all cleaned and flow tested at HQ Garage) TT Coilpack conversion & 2JZGTE 6MT ECU (TT map sensor, TT igniter, TT IAT sensor, 4 wire heated o2 sensor etc…) Greddy Emanage Ultimate w/ harness & 3 bar map sensor Fuel pulsation damper bypass with AN fittings Walbro 255 fuel pump Mishimoto sandwich plate with 1/8thNPT adapters for oil temp / pressure Mocal oil cooler with 10AN braided lines and 10AN fittings AEM 4” intake 2JZGTE Cam covers 2JZGTE spark plug cover ASI alloy radiator & silicone GE hoses Mishimoto water temperature coupling W58 5 speed Manual gearbox Spec stage 3 Clutch Flywheel skimmed Battery relocated to boot, engine bay painted & partial wire tuck Exterior OEM side skirts OEM rear spats Rear spoiler removed Facelift rear lights Headlights refurbished Full respray in Alfa Romeo Grey metallic 4k HID’s OEM front lip Fully undersealed Wheels, Brakes & Suspension Tein Masterflex Coilover suspension with pillowball top mounts 17x8, 17x9.5 TT wheels refurbished in anthracite Lexus LS400 UCF20 4 pot front brakes Alignment / geometry set up by Automek Performance Interior Evo 8 Recaro seats on Supra rails Defi Link control unit Defi oil temperature gauge Defi water temperature gauge Defi oil pressure gauge Defi boost gauge Defi exhaust gas temperature gauge AEM EUGO Wideband gauge Border upper glovebox gauge pod HKS EVC5 Boost controller Sony Bluetooth head unit OEM floor mats ARC gear knob The majority of the work was carried out at Automek Performance ( http://www.automek.org ) and the car was mapped by Russ Paton at Garage HQ to 321WHP and 303ft/lbs at a conservative 0.8bar. The power delivery is incredible and pulls like a train through all the gears. The car does have some service history from the previous owner but as you can see from the work carried out, has been meticulously looked after in my ownership. I have a spreadsheet detailing every single penny spent on the car, parts, labour, date of purchase, and who from (including transactions with members on here and on mkivsupra.net). God help me if my wife ever finds it. During the build, I opted to buy a spare engine so I could retain the use of my car throughout the project. I purchased an engine through the forum which came from an N/A Auto and had only covered 65k miles. The engine was treated to timing belt & tensioners, replacement lower crank pulley, aux belt, Inlet & exhaust gaskets, TB gasket, cam seals, crank seals, cam cover seals, water pump, fuel filter, oil filter, Fuchs Titan Race 10w50 along with fresh NGK BKR7IEX plugs and the air conditioning condenser removed. The gearbox also had the pilot & release bearings changed along with fresh Redline MT90 gear oil. The original engine can also come with the car if you so wish. The oil and filter were changed again prior to the mapping session (25/6/15) along with a set of spark plugs. I’d love to be able to hold onto the car but I have plans to go travelling next year and the Supra will have to make way to fund the trip. I’ll be back in another one at some point but for now I’ve had my fun and it’s time to let someone else enjoy it! PRICE £7500 PM me for a contact number if you wish to ask any further questions.

You must be so chuffed! Nice purchase!

Wish I'd seen this before now! Looks like a cracking trip. Maybe next year...

Keep the chin up mate! The wait will be worth it!
-
The front bumper has been on and off so many times throughout the build that the bolts which hold on the metal brackets disintegrated during the oil cooler install. It's now held on by cable ties haha! Someone tagged me in a few of those pics on Facebook mate, the shots are awesome! Loved this one of the bay

I had my car mapped for BP 97. No problems here!

We ended up not getting away from work until later so didn't arrive until around 6:45, just in time to see an Evo smash clean into the pit wall! Doesn't exactly inspire confidence! At least the track had dried up by this point and I got a good few laps in. Ross had retired by this point... I think he said there was an issue with the power steering?

Ventured out on track for the first time ever last night. Never fancied my chances on a hot hatch night so saw the Monster Unit night at Knockhill as a chance to get on track with like minded individuals and not have to worry about someone wiping you out. Car performed flawlessly! I watched the playback from my Defi's from the final few laps and the oil / water temps behaved themselves, no nasty boost spikes and EGT's normal. Could probably be doing with better tyres and some more aggressive brake pads but apart from that, well impressed! Photo credit - Matthew Burgess

Definitely! Didn't realise who you were til about half way through our conversation mate! Good to put a face to a name! Whats left of the dizzy and top rad hose give it away, apart from that, its as about comprehensive an NA-T conversion as it gets. Cheers James, I might whip the rears off and try them on the front for all the time it'll take!

Aye, OEM TT head gasket and ARP head studs! I've actually got a proper GReddy lip, but at the risk of offending almost everyone on here, I prefer the OEM lip! Has anyone ever ran the OEM 9.5" rear wheels all round?

Quick update... Emanage all wired in. Didn't fancy it being kicked around in the footwell so mounted it in the glovebox. Although when we tried to start it on the 2JZ base map it was running very rich. A quick search on here and found this thread in relation to a Greddy injector adapter #2 which prevents this happening on early Emanage ultimate units. Saved us a lot of messing around, well worth the £10 membership fee itself http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?128418-E-manageUltimate-INJ-adapter-2 Turns out the adapter came with the ECU and was still in the box. Another bit of wiring taken care of and the engine sounded much healthier, with the AFR's no longer pegged at 10.0. Next on the cards was a new alloy radiator, silicone hoses and an oil cooler kit. Opted for a 16 row Mocal with 10AN lines / fittings and a Mishimoto sandwich plate as it had the take off's for the cooler itself, as well as 2x 1/8th NPT fittings for my Defi oil temp / oil pressure. And then for the moment of truth, a trip to HQ Garage for a mapping session with Russ. At 0.8 bar, the car made 321hp and 303ft/lbs at the wheels, which is about as far as I'm comfortable pushing my W58. I've put around 1200 miles on the car since it was mapped and I'm really pleased with how the car behaves. Power delivery is incredible and pulls like a train through all the gears. The car spent a few days with Danny at Angelic Car Care prior to the Scottish Car Show at the weekend just there. It was great to meet some of the guys and get a bleather, Tony, Steve, etc... This will be my last update for a while hopefully... after it being off the road for so long, I've fallen in love with it again. The way it looks, drives, everything has just clicked into place! Time to just put petrol in it and enjoy it

Glad to see this finally up and running! Your perseverance has paid off Josh!

Whats the stupidest diy job you've done on your supra/car???
kev_coupe replied to Clinton's topic in Supra Chat
Not a Supra story, but amusing all the same. I used to work for an insurance claims assessor. Kwik Fit had just been handed the servicing contract for Enterprise rent-a-car and we were called out to look at a van which had just been serviced and gave up the ghost a few miles down the road. Turns out the guy servicing the van had drained the oil, measured how much came out and then filled it up with the same amount... In actual fact what he'd done was drain the gearbox oil! one overfilled engine and one empty gearbox = boom -
