  2. good job ryan, whats that flexi ringed pipe off the wastegate chap?
  3. sorry to go slightly off topic but are there any after market blower systems (hot & cold air) to be able to use on track cars like this for the cock pit? obviously the standard toyota unit must way a ton too!!!
  4. unfortunatly not, it would only throw up an abs light, thats it. i have had a couple gs300's where the light bulb behind the dash has been removed also.....
  5. hi, i want to know (if anyone can help)..... what are the differences (apart from ecu, gearbox/torque converter etc) between the TT Auto 2JZGTE and the TT 6spd 2JZGTE??? if i were to have a TT auto engine, can i JUST fit the 6 speed box to it with a flywheel and clutch setup and use this combination to drop it into a 6 speed chasis? with the 6 speed TT ecu? would this work? john
  6. hi have also had the same symptom on the Lexus RX300 range but on them they always seem to be the abs sensor itself. as you can see, i love my lexus
  7. yes mate, basically 1998 onwards....
  8. this is a common fault on the gs300, its your abs pump thats not working. pumps are over 1k from lexus/toyota. see if you can find a 2nd hand one from ebay or breakers for around £200. i have gone through 6 lexus gs300 and 3 times i have lost abs pump. its very common. and that IS the symptom!!!! john
  9. cool...was that impact bar bolted on or welded on when you removed it mate? and are you going for a complete custom cage which like cost £3k from the specialists or are you going to go with the bolt in stuff then modify it to suit
  10. yeah, puts them into a different box no seriously, i am sure i have been informed they were porterfield pads but sold as "chris wilson's".
  11. i thought chris wilson pads were portefield...but sold as chris wilson's?
  12. hi ryan, what are you going to use for the interior fan/heater for the windows now that you have removed the oem heater system.
  13. Ian, any chance of posting these here? thanks
  14. usual china made cheap stuff mate, i'd rather keep my car standard than fit that junk on it. same with xs power junk.
  15. you forgot to mention plenty of carbon build up too
  16. can you post these here too so its downloadable for everyone?
  17. My step dad took his skyline to them for some work and they were well priced and provided a good service....dad was very pleased. I'll be taking my mr2 turbo down to them in the new year. I guess some people have bad experience and some good, i for one have had good experience They are offering a full inspection on that engine prior to payment so you cant say fairer than that.
  18. Did you know in muslim culture 1st cousin maraiges are rife, wonder if that will be encoperated into the virtual world
  19. what size was this side mount intercooler? was it like 2 row or 3 row?
  20. http://www.aquamist.co.uk aquamist is a good system and their pumps can be used with methanol. i havent heard of "high failure rates on them". my mate has used aquamist on his cosworth engines for the past 8 years. he uses 100% meth on a seperate container and he has moved the kit through several applications (different cosworths) in the past 8 odd years. the only thing he has changed in that time is the in-line filter and a relay (the realy got water soaked and rusted over time) recently he also purchased a new loom that comes with the dash lights to show you details of the system in use, armed, low water/meth levels. otherwise very reliable IMO
  21. wasnt jamie's engine built by turbo fit?
  22. i have been to this last year. its not an open track day nor is it free to go on the track. you have to be invited to this or you cant get on the track so not sure where you got the information from? the clubs that are on the track are gt40 oc, ferrari oc, lotus oc, tvr oc, porsche oc, viper oc etc etc. it was awsome last year, there was one quicksilver supra that dicked on all the cars. passenger rides were a minimum £5. i've heard rumors that supra will be there this year sharing gates with the ferrari oc - will be interesting indeed.
  23. can i just confirm these USA spec/UK Spec Denso pump part number is 195130-1020. toyota part number 23221-46110. and these Denso pumps are LARGER than the walbros in physical size?
