I like these just the mpg is a little on the low side for me i would like somthing 50+ nice car though.

Hi all, I am looking for a new run around as my Clio is dead and the Doc says I can drive again in 2 weeks I have about 4k ish to spend and want something nippy, good MPG, low tax and looks good. The Clio i had was good on fuel i once got 72mpg and it was only £30 a year tax but it was a bit on the slow side of things only having 65 Bhp and the electrics where interesting to say the least. So what would you guys recommend? My budget is small so a lot of the cars I am looking at have high mileage, do you think this is a problem in this day and age? Thanks Jonathan Hemmings

it does look a lot clear in the google images but i do that same road 2 times a week you can only see to the over side of the junction.
