  9. updated main post, i thought i had just mot'd it, but remembered that was my other car, when taxing it yesterday!!.. will put a fresh mot on it next week!! my bad, damn those brownies!! sorry for any inconveinence!
  10. the team beard stickers come free with the car!!
  11. tbh thats what i thought would happen, more hassle than it's worth for the police.. but if there was a chance the car would be seized, i would rather tax it than have some poor guy sat at customs with no car and 3K lighter.. He could post me back the tax when he gets home or from the port before he goes i guess, so i can get partial refund !!
  12. here are the interior and engine bay pics as requested... i have also taken a little walk round video, including cracks on boonet and small hole in front bumper.. apologies for sound quality it was taken on an old camera! link to album.. http://s734.photobucket.com/albums/ww341/jaifield/supra%202011/ tried to do direct upload but said invalid file?
  13. just called the dvla, they say i would need to tax it, then claim a refund on the tax.. or have the guy (member on here) trailer it.. just seems alot of ball ache for a days use on the road, personally i would risk not taxing (fine is only £60) but didnt want the guy having any probs gettin out of the country without it displayed.. Surely if he did get pulled on route and showed paperwork for purchase, they would let him off.. me no speak english officer!!
  14. if i were to sell my car to an overseas buyer, would i have to tax it again? it ran out last week, and the buyer will be exporting the same day as collection, it would need driving from northampton to stansted,, then onto the ferry.. it seem ridiculous to tax it for 1 days use on uk roads!
  15. i insure mine with aviva, through autonet who also arranged my public liability and tool cover.. only £500 and anyone over 25 with clean licence is insured aswell
