  1. Don't forget guys and gals the cut off deadline for registering on the justgiving website is 1300hrs saturday the 10th, if you don't donate on-line there is no guarantee you will get a map so if you cant donate on-line the earlier you get there the better the chance you will have of getting one of the spares as there are limited numbers.
  2. fingers crossed for you chap ok please post this on all forums you have posted to about the tunnel run... Its groups like this that often have us asking ourselves why we bother to organise tunnel runs… https://www.facebook.com/events/310247722367020/ People that don’t want to put their hands in their pockets and donate a small amount to charity, whilst having fun. Comments like… Ben Bumpin Buckley why arnt you going into essex arena? Kim Ling whats that mean? Ben Bumpin Buckley everyone is leaving from the arena so wondered why people meeting in the services? Chien Ling last year it took over an hour and a half to get out of the arena... 400+ cars through one gate... meeting at services seems the logical alternative... Ben Bumpin Buckley yes you do have a very good valid point there took us ages to get out And… Ben Bumpin Buckley Haha wicked stuff. What time you arriving ? Chien Ling About 11pm... Ben Bumpin Buckley Arena leaving at 1045 ain't they? Chien Ling Not all 400+ cars will be able to leave at the same time so they will probs start leaving for the A13 between half 10 to midnight... if we leave for the route at half 11, there will be plenty of action... :o) Every year we have the same people tagging along and not donating. We know that they are public roads and everyone is intitalled to drive on them, But we have had people in the past that are just out to cause trouble for everyone else, driving dangerously etc.. its people like these that give good people who want to do something for fun and raise money in the process a bad name. This year as well as chalking numbers on the cars we will also be putting a unique symbol on each window. If you see a car on the route without these markings, please take down the details and name and shame. It takes a lot of time, effort and money to arrange these events, and we hope that all the people that donate and enjoy the event think it is worth while. So please help us keep these events worth doing, and stop people like this spoiling our fun. __________________
  3. 4 days to go, please make sure you make your donation on the just giving site if you wish to take part. By the way, from previous experience (not to say its you guys, I'm posting this on all the forums I'm posting on) we always get a few that turn up but make no donation and just tag along, as this is a charity event (and cheaper than a lot of static events) we feel this is quite unfair to see people take advantage this way. This is why, if we see anyone who is just tagging along this time, we will take down numberplates and name and shame them. We feel this would be particularly effective this time due to the amount of coverage we are getting now. So please guys and girls, make the donation and don't be a douche and just tag along! Thanks!

  13. Right guys and gals i am proud to announce that this months jap meet will be done conjunction with Miss Banzai jap club and skyinsurance, and will also incorpoate a tunnel run :D =D> =D> =D> . Sky insurance are donating a bottle of bubbly and box of choccies for car of the night and runner up so get polishing guys, also i thought it would be a good thing to mention this is for charity so bring your wallets and dig out any spare change you have lying down the back of the sofa as there will be some collection buckets. the details are as follows: The moment you have all been waiting for.. the event of 2009! (Well so far anyway) Yep you have guessed it.. another infamous MissBanzai Tunnel Run! Date: Saturday 28th Feb Time: 8:30pm expected to leave no later than 10pm Meeting point: Thurrock Services J30/31 M25 Arterial Road West Thurrock Grays RM16 3BG There will be maps and details of the route but to qualify for one of these there is a minimum donation of £4 with all of the money going to charity. The Charity details: The Myositis Support Group is a UK charity providing advice and support to sufferers of Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis, Inclusion Body Myositis and Juvenile Dermatomyositis and their families. The MSG also funds and promotes medical research that improves diagnosis, treatment, management and understanding of these diseases. Charity Registration No 327791 Please take the time to go to... http://www.justgiving.com/missbanzaitunnelrun and register your donation which will qualify your car to enter the Tunnel Run and give you a map for the route.. Quick notes... If you have never done a tunnel run before the following is a good thing. Remember you will be following typed instructions, with possibly a few sat twat locations and a few pics of maps. We cannot supply map books to everyone, so a map book of London of your own would be a really useful thing to have in the car. Also a co-pilot is rather vital.. you will be driving round London on a Saturday night so someone to read you directions and point out road names helps loads! Walkie Talkies.. these are not only really handy, but really good fun as well. SimonAirHeadz is the man to speak to with regards to what type you need. If you have never done a Tunnel Run before, the aim of the night is to drive round London taking in as many tunnels as possible, and making as much noise as possible whilst going through them We must note that the Tunnel Run is NOT a race, MissBanzai tbdevelopments and skyinsurance do not condone any unsafe or dangerous driving. Please cut and paste this on any other forums that you may be a member of as all clubs are welcome. And don't forget.. it is in Feb, the weather could be very cold so bring the thermal undies. i look forward to seeing you all there guys so as usual lets get a list together of who is up for it.
