  1. Sad to read this Jason, but needs must! I've always enjoyed following the build and it is definitely one of my favourites on the forum. That is a very competitive price - I think you're underselling personally, though it should definitely secure you a quick sale!
  2. Made a start on my first 'real' tat (my knee doesn't count ) https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18268378_569462099623_4579530826155528822_n.jpg?oh=b88e8e9bdc5edab34b036ddade276dd5&oe=597C2ACF Colour next week
  3. If you get stuck, try taking one to Grampian Fasteners in Dyce - they may be able to sort you out.
  4. I'm glad to read this - I was recently told that mine is worth no more than this one because I also have a T88.
  5. Nice one Marc - I expect plenty pics and feedback!
  6. This is 245/40/18 up front on 18x9.5 ET21: https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/13914057_996286550470016_6876219682437696468_o.jpg?oh=32ff0bda6b52e575ddf0f2d3f956cbd1&oe=593E8B7E
  7. How it goes, how it looks & how it sounds. For the price, I can't think of anything else that beats my Supra in all 3 of those categories. With looks being subjective, it'll take plenty convincing too.
  8. Yeah I have the CCW LM5T which are similar to the 'twist' wheels posted: https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/13737716_1039149079514768_8031871381077943398_o.jpg?oh=1c553dccf194ecca64c8b51f12b5b26a&oe=59438760 Not cheap haha! I love them though!
  9. Joined a new band and re-recorded one of their old tunes and a video for it. What a bizarre experience! Check it out and let me know what you think! https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FRayBrowerUK%2Fvideos%2F1231561586929412 Give the band page a like too if you are into it! Just search 'Ray Brower'! For any guitarists interested, I used my ESP Hanneman S&Key Urban Camo (as used in the video too) into both my ENGL E670 SE EL34 and Mesa Boogie Mark V.
  10. Unless it's Aberdeen. Nightmare prices up here!
  11. In short, no, you can't change your spacing for your registration format. Page 14 onward is your friend here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2001/561/pdfs/uksi_20010561_en.pdf Incidentally, with regards to the '3-line' plates, these are no longer permitted unless they were fitted prior to 31/08/2001.
  12. Good shout on the UK rear bumper - I did that modification too and love it! Car looks great, nice one!
  13. I'm not sure about vs a U.K. decat, but I know that the flange angle on the VVTi decat vs pre-VVTi is different by a few degrees, meaning you would foul the gearbox casing if using the wrong one. Is it an aftermarket turbo kit and manifold you're going for? If so, you'd have to change your downpipe regardless?
  14. You would need to chop your quarters to bits to even get close to making these fit. Nur arches at least. I'll work it out when I get home but no way under stock arches.
  15. That's good to know - I have a V Pro as well just now and was hoping to get the map checked out for now
  16. Pretty poor to see this type of thing spilling onto the forum - I haven't really observed much of this in the past. Unfortunately, there is nothing we as mods can do about this.
  17. Nothing really worth updating since getting the good photos down back at the tail end of last year! It started getting frosty up here mid November: https://scontent.flhr4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/15978059_566044154213_4885274417114997521_n.jpg?oh=18e883bfa54cdb5c8afb92ed27e7f366&oe=5911DA98 That prompted me to put the car into the wee garage I now have. It hasn't been seen since. I look forward to the decent weather coming round and I'll bring it back out to play. Just in need of a front droplink and it's ready for MOT again. Had some issues with getting the 4" downpipe I bought to fit (the guy welding it made an absolute mess of it and it is scrap). That will be revisited once the car is back on the road. Would be nice to get down to a couple of meets/events at some point later this year if my schedule allows as well.
  18. Ding ding ding - it's that time again. ...And infractions for all. Keep the swearing to Facebook if you must.
  19. Thread re-opened. Keep it in mind that this is a for sale thread. Technical discussions are great and have their place, however they can be saved for other threads as necessary. In short - some people have had to shave these calipers to allow them to fit behind their wheels. However, this particular set has not been modified, as they successfully cleared CCW Classic wheels (18x10 ET44 / 18x11.5 ET50.8) without issue. Play nice
  20. The thing is, although we're not massively active (the yacht obviously takes up most of our time ) - we do still read the threads. I can definitely form my own opinion and make my own decisions on that type of thing
  21. Also remember that you will need to uprate the clutch if converting to a GTE. Hopefully it is an easy fix for you - I'd replace the radiator cap and flush the coolant through the system at the very least. Change the radiator if necessary. Also check that it isn't the heater matrix that has failed - I had that issue with my first Supra.
  22. Good afternoon Christian, I've probed the reds a couple of times now - things seem to be going a bit slow. The wifi on the yacht must be acting up. Hopefully sorted pronto for you mate. I shall let you know as soon as things get moving.
  23. I used to have CCW Classics in 18x10 ET44 (but with a 5mm spacer, so ET39) up front with a 285/30/18 with no scrubbing issues whatsoever. I changed to 18x9.5 ET24 (with a 3mm spacer, so ET21 now) with a 245/40/18. It scrubs quite a lot. I'll need to change down to a 225 or 235 to avoid that. When the car is raised, the top of the tyre sits proud of the arch. If you go 18x9.5 ET15 with a 245 or 255 then you'll absolutely scrub. This is all presuming you have stock wings and not Ridox/TRD/custom.
  24. Thanks Peter - have raised this to the Super Mods (reds). Cheers
  25. Drive it when weather/time allows. Keep it clean. Maybe a remap at some point. That's about it really. I did enough to it in 2016 to keep me happy. I also need to sell my current daily (mk5 Golf GTI) and buy something else that is equally as boring but better on fuel.
