  1. All, Please adhere to the above template for any items for sale. An important point to note is the last line of the original post: I'll be placing a particular focus on the nature of the new threads within the Classifieds section over the next while, so please stick to the template as best you all can. Similarly, any other members passing comment on threads - play nice. I shouldn't really need to embellish that point very much. I'll determine whether you are or not though.
  2. Hi Mehdi, Get some pics up. We love to see them
  3. I’m hoping the problem was solved as the thread was dead for 7 years before today Hopefully anyone else that has experienced the issue can chime in to give further options as to remedies however.
  4. I need to buy some of these as well in fact - I did them on my old white car but need to on the current Supra(s) too as I immediately resort to it being something else making a noise sometimes.
  5. I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 1.9 TiD. I only do about 250 miles/week, but it has been so much better than my previous mk5 Golf GTI. I have a Supra 5 speed TT that I need to get into shape for using as an intermittent daily as well; and keep my VVTi 6 speed single for weekends
  6. For a little while I was debating whether to part ways with my Supra ('97 VVTi 6 speed single) just for a change; I finally came to my senses and decided I would miss it too much and had to keep it. That has now been further reinforced as the right decision as my love for these cars has extended a wee bit further through the purchase of a second black Supra A lot of you may recognise this car as belonging to my best mate marcAB10 - it has been up here in Aberdeen for about 12 years now and has transformed quite a bit since I first saw it (back in 2008!). It is a 1995 SZ-R 5 speed manual which has had a 2JZ-GTE engine swap. Running relatively stock, it made 341.5bhp when dyno'd a while back. Externally, it has the following appointments: RMM Lip Blitz Skirts Shine Auto Carbon Diffuser Ridox Carbon Boot Lip It used to have Workmeister S1 3 piece wheels, though I have taken these off and put on stock 17s for the moment; as I plan on refurbishing the Works, putting on 1/2" narrower lips and fitting them to my 'main' Supra. It also had OEM interior retrimmed in a stunning 'chilli' red. That has since been fitted to the other Supra as well, with my Recaro SR5s (black cloth with red stitch) swapped into this one. I have also raised the car up quite a bit so that I can actually move it around without the worry of scuffing/scraping everywhere! A wee bit of attention will be required on the sills as they are a bit corroded - I'll have to gauge just how bad they really are once I get it onto a ramp and then make a decision from there as to the best way forward. Unsure as to my plans if all can be salvaged structurally. Probably pick up a new bootlid to return to having the OEM spoiler, a different set of wheels (may put my CCW LM5T on if I don't just sell them) and just enjoy it as a largely stock offering. Here are a few pics of the car in it's prime a few years back.
  7. As long as I don’t have anything else on (usually football on a Sunday previously) then I’m keen
  8. Ok nice one! If you can give me a shout if you happen across them and we'll sort it out
  9. Long shot - Greg, do you still have this available?
  10. How much are you looking to spend? I'm considering shifting my CCW LM5Ts for something else but they'll be about £2k.
  11. Shame that it went bang at all of course, but good for future proofing and bringing forward your eventual plans regardless. Hope all goes smoothly from here on in
  12. I have the Defi DSSC in my facelift. However, I didn't install it as it was on the car when I purchased it.
  13. Did this one ever progress Paul? I’m thinking about changing my T88 and a nice twin kit is something I’d always love to opt for if I didn’t go for a GTX3582R or 6266.

    DVLA Reg sale

A wee bit of modified spacing and VJZ80 (V JZ(A)80) would be alright for a Supra
  15. I’ve been offered £35k and £36k for mine so far and have decided not to sell - it’d take more than that for me to let it go. Worrying, as I’d definitely have taken that this time last year. Just unsure where they’re going to peak.
  16. That was at the last TAS (won best car) - not just this one
  17. I wouldn't be adding any more sidewall to the 315 rears if you can help it. The R888 seems 'oversized' compared with some other tyres as it is, much more sidewall sag and you're going to foul everywhere. Going up to a 40 profile on that same width is going to add another 35mm to the running height of the car too, while reducing your clearance to the arch by the same. I used to run 285/30/18 up front on the 10" alongside the 315/30/18 at the rear on the 11.5" and it felt fine.

    Trickle Chargers

The CTEK MXS 5.0 is the only one I have any experience with - no complaints at all!
  19. I have the RPS Carbon Carbon triple plate and rate it very highly - was easy to install and pedal feel is great.
  20. Nice to see these updates - this has always been a forum favourite of mine. Are you planning on having the turbos re-worked at all? Different internals or suchlike? I've always been intrigued by this setup and wondered how it delivered vs a modern single (6466 or similar).
  21. You can change your current small case diff to the A03B from a facelift twin turbo manual/auto. That is small case, 200mm, 3.266:1. Check your VIN plate to see what diff is currently fitted. The most common are: A01A - 4.083:1; small case 200mm; open A01B - 4.083:1; small case 200mm; LSD A02A - 3.769:1; small case 200mm; open A02B - 3.769:1; small case 200mm; LSD A03B - 3.266:1; small case 200mm; LSD B03B - 3.266:1; large case 220mm; LSD There are others as well, but those are probably the most common. The A01B and A03B being less common than the A01A & A02A/B.
  22. I’ve been offered £30k for mine this week. Things are definitely going the right way.
