  1. That's amazing. I wonder where all the practice cars are Steve
  2. Hello I had a Hernia of the groin in the place you mention (about 2 inches to the left). There WAS a lump though and a sort of nagging pain. They sliced me open, tucked it back in, put a piece of guaze in there and 'stapled' me back together. I was VERY black and blue everywhere, apparently they take your bits stretch them and sticky tape them down whilst doing the operation. I was up and about in a day or two, fine in a week and could do sports in 6 weeks. I could do 'other' things after a few days if gentle Steve
  3. I work for CMA (Content Management and Archiving), not too much conspiracy theory goes on here -- that's all the hardware guys! Steve
  4. And very very sadly sold now. Steve

    Bye Bye Supra

Sadly no. It'll probably be a ex-demo Focus ST-3 as I don't want to spend more than about £15K. Steve

    Bye Bye Supra

Hello My Supra goes to its new home on Monday and I have to say I'm completely sad about it. I LOVED my Supra, I have had it for 8 years and was always happy to see it across the car park or in the morning when going to drive to work. Sigh. Just selling as it has done close to 130K and I'm not 'car minded' so any problems that would arise would result in an expensive trip to the garage. No point to the post, just 'sharing' my grief Steve
  7. It hasn't been lowered, it is an 'out of box' Japanese import (that I've had since new). Steve
  8. Who would I get to adjust the tracking? Is that something the Toyota garage would have to do? I was looking to spend £500- £600. The Dunlops are £520. Steve
  9. Hello I should know better, but I don't! Although I thought my tyres were fine, I have noticed that they have worn almost completely away on the inner rim (all 4 of them) so I need some new tyres. At the moment I have 255/40/17 on the back and 235/45/17 on the front. What make should I replace them with? The cheapest vs quality seems to be Dunlop 9000 (Z). Any suggestions appreciated. Steve

    Lost

I just episode 12 this evening as well and it was really good. I was completely uninterested and was going to give up watching but the last few episodes have certainly got my interest again. Steve
  11. Have you tried removing the battery, using a hair dryer to dry everything off? In fact, then leave it in the airing cupboard for a day. My wife's telephone took a bath and this sorted it out. It WILL fail as the insides will slowly rust but it'll take a couple of years. Steve
  12. I really like the idea of the BBC's iPlayer, although I only watch the streamed version as I knew about the P2P stuff. If you want full versions of UK television programs, you can also use http://www.uknova.com. The episode of 'Have I Got News for You' from last night was uploaded by 10:30pm. Steve
  13. Mmmm. I can't get my DivX files (As downloaded) to play on the 360 from my PC without messing about recoding or faking headers? They do play if I put them on a memory stick though ... Steve
  14. Neither the PS3 or Xbox 360 can play files from the PC without transcoding (at least not in the current releases). With the 360 (and I'm guessing the PS3 although I don't know) you can put your DivX movies on a memory stick and it plays quite happily. Geo: Believe it or not there isn't a successful hack for the PS3 yet. Steve
  15. I used a Garmin to get me to some bizarre little place in Poland and it was okay. It did take me down some one-track so-called roads in the middle of a field, but I did get there in the end. The only other problem was that a motorway in East Germany just stopped and continued about 10 miles later. To be fair, the paper map also had the motorway there. In answer to the original question, I couldn't find one for Bulgaria. Lots of other places .. http://thepiratebay.org/search/tomtom%20map/0/99/0 Steve
  16. What are young teenage men going to do? Especially if this comes into force: http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/health/government-to-tackle-binge%11wanking-20070607194/ Steve
  17. I use Acronis and it works well. Steve
  18. For some other people that HAVE been caught: http://mugshotdujour.com/ Including: http://mugshotdujour.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/keyon-mobley.jpg Steve
  19. I did think about the fact the car could be cloned, but didn't think it would be worth it for a low value car. Unless it is just spammed to every seller with the hope that one bites and it is a good one. Steve
  20. Hello I'm selling my Supra and had two requests now for my V5 document. Obviously it is a scam, but what can you actually do with it? Steve
  21. Music videos don't tend to stay up very long on Torrent sites. You can try thepiratebay.org but as above YouTube is probably the best place. Steve
  22. Congratulations. Enjoy the pub while you can (and the Supra!) Steve
  23. It depends what your criteria is really. AS above I would recommend BE, but as you are not in an enabled area I would recommend Zen http://www.zenadsl.com, BUT they are expensive. Steve
