  1. i currently have no boost controller just a manual valve .. so do you think that i should just dial up the boost on the valve?
  2. Hi all, I am currently running a uk TT with 1.1 bar boost, all the work done by whiffbitz around 5 years ago, I now want to take it a little further but my budget does not run to a syvecs with 1.5 bar boost so, after talking with Paul Whiffin I have decided to go with the greddy profec, new intercooler and go up to 1.2 bar boost, my question is, will I feel a big difference in performance? thanks in advance to anyone who has gone this route..
  3. Ok thanks so best to get a good auto electrician, or just remove the fuse? Do you happen to know which fuse it is?
  4. So can anyone tell me or pm me how to remove it? I am not great wit this type of thing so am hoping its relatively straightforward... Or is it an easy job for any competant alarm installer? I live in france so its not so easy to find anyone familier with supras, my local garage looked at it and said it was beyond them. Surprise.. lol..local toyota are asking 850 euros to remove it and install another alarm, which i dont actually need as the cahnces of getting it stolen where i live are non existant.... any advice gratefully recieved.....
  5. New battery starts fine but now driver's door is stuck locked and won't unlock even with the key!!
  6. Left the car for 3 hrs after a 50 km run, came back, central locking won't work, although the alarm will arm and disarm off the fob, and when I turn the key there is absolutely nothing.. No click, no turnover just dead , all the dash lights up normally though.. it's a uk spec with the original alarm system, the key fob has a black and a red button on it, any suggestions?
  7. AGHHH ... after much research about french rules for importing...it now seems that the easiest route to go down is with a UK spec TT, as it has the COC required for an easy-ish re-registration in france....its an absolute nightmare to try and get a japanese import re-registered over here...involving long and expensive tests..... so ... I am now looking frantically for a UK spec car....
  8. my dilemma is as follows... to register a Japanese import in france its seems that you have to have a test in paris which costs 1500 euro, and can take up to 6 months to get a place booked....this is because there is no certificate of conformity for these imports...and so a very thorough test needs to be done by the french road guys... I am wondering if I were to get a UK specc TT then this would have all the european conformity already done, wouldn't it? and so the registration in france is much much more simple...basically a french MOT and some left hand lights.... any comments or advice please?
  9. excellent..!! thanks, gaz heh both those vvti's are the ones i want to try out ..and Andy thats exactly what i was asking about...thanks again...
