Chris is that what you are saying could be the problem with mine?

I turned the A/C on last night, with the bonnet open so i could see if the pump was spinning, As the the engine revs peak, the inner wheel on the pump starts to turn, so maybe not ceased completley, then the revs drop and inner wheel of the pump then stops again. Very strange.

Would this happen, surely if the ICV had an issue it would be a probelm with idling all the time not just with the A/C on?

Coming back to this issue now as I may need to sell the car soon, and want it in full working order and as immaculate as it deserves to be. What should I use to free the pump? cheers

Guys Tein front Strut brace. Only around 12 months old and car done about 2000 miles since then. The Green mounts did fade a lot from heat, so sprayed the mounts with an exhaust manifold black spray paint. In excellent condition Must be sold and collected in the next 7 days please. I Paid £130 for this........offers please.
