As soon as ypu pick it up strip the internal quarter panel plastics and inspect the sill section inside there... infront of the rear wheels.... itll save u time and money if it wants bypassing straight to the scrap yard....i restored a uk spec dc2 that looked mint with a tiny 5p sized rust mark on the quarter panel type r sticker area.... inside there it was a mess.... good luck with it....

Rust stopper never really stops ruat i learnt this on a dc2.... dirty hondas....if you can hire a scavenge sand blaster that eould sort it then epoxy paint it over the top.bilt hamber epoxy is lovely

I had a swt of shine auto front fenders that had to have both panel gaps addressed to the doors .By means of bonding a carbon strip 10mm wide to the edge of the fender with 3m 9323ba chassis glue then blending it in.Then the headlight bracket was in the wrong place totally to hold the headlight in the correct position tonthe bonnet etc.... but if yours and your mates worked out must have been my bad ric

There's a nylon gear company called igus could try them. Your man with the EDM machine has the best approach though.nice job.is it a charmilles machine?

Blimey they seem expensive repaired with no tyres...... I would say the offset etc is good. Not sure about clearing bbk unless someone else has a set with UK calipers they have used.
