I picked up a perfect condition recaro speed out of an altezza on ebay for £122 a few weeks ago, also brought a kw auto seat rail for it for £80 and have myself a lovely comfy recaro now in the supra for £202 which i think was a bargain

just an update I purchased Kw auto rails for £85 delivered. They came yesterday, they fit perfectly although i prefer a laid back seating position and had to modify the subframe with a couple of new mounting holes to sit the seat further back. My recaro bolted straight up and its awesome. Seating position is around 2 inches lower than stock. I'm going to order the sliding rails from kw i think for a little more adjustment.

RobD the mkIII forum is a nightmare when signing up, took me umpteen tries and mails to find out they wouldn't let you sign up on a tiscali account ( this was a few years ago), i tried recently to change my address to a gmail one and it wouldn't do that either.

W58 to R154 conversion, what do I need bar the gearbox?

at this rate maybe a few of us with r154's in the garage could get a group buy on the bellhousings and shifter adaptors -
you can use 2jz cams in the 1jz but the intake cam needs a small amout of material shaved off form the front of the camshaft. There is a great write up on supramania id you have a look http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/archive/index.php?t-34788.html
