Has anybody bought their bodykits from Knight Racer
SupraRider replied to SupraRider's topic in Supra Chat
well Matt, I've just spoken to Joe at Knight Racer and discussed some price options and their delivery methods etc... he seemed quite a switched-on person and by the sounds of it, reliable as well. did me a good price on the top secret front bumper with bomex sides all I need to do now is to source a reliable bodyshop who knows what they are doing!!! -
Has anybody bought their bodykits from Knight Racer
SupraRider replied to SupraRider's topic in Supra Chat
yes its just bodyparts I'm after, so i suppose I could go with them? thanks guys, I have been a victim of rogue traders as well so thats why I'm in here asking for advice and recommendation. So thanks! i'll give knight racer a call. but if there are any other reliable traders you know, please inform me! Thanks! -
knight racer? and if so, what are your views in terms of fitment and quality of their kits? I was hoping to make a price comparison between them and others for a bomex front and side skirts, but I must say I quite like their top secret front bumper though... Any advice appreciated! THanks!

Can anyone recommend a reliable website for....
SupraRider replied to SupraRider's topic in Supra Chat
hi, yes Ive had a look at madmotors but I wasn't quite sure on their reputation. I've been stung heavily in the past on rogue traders and almost went to court with one! have you bought anything from mad motors before? -
Can anyone recommend a cheap and reliable website for ordering a bodykit to fit my NA? I'm looking for the Bomex front bumper and sideskirts. I'm wishing for a top secret front bumper and sideskirts but I can't seem to find it anywhere on any UK sites except for the jap website which costs a fortune! so any help will be appreciated people. THANKS!

Does anywhere sell replica TopSecret sideskirts?
SupraRider replied to marcAB10's topic in Supra Chat
hey marc, I am looking for it as well! I might have to resort to bomex front bumpers and sideskirts instead. there's a user in this forum that has got the top secret type 1 front bumper on his supe and it looks great! think his username is: jim_1979. tried pm him a few times but no response so far. so have you managed to locate a local bodyshop that fits bodykits on supes around grampian? -
Thanks guys! I'm sure the grampian folks in this forum will appreciate this. yes I believe we have yet to find a bodyshop that fits bodykits on supes. but if you know anything else, please let me know. Thanks!

Thank you all for your feedback and comments and yes I've gone with the XS Power exhaust! Got a good feeling about this! can't wait!
-
thanks! I think the decision is clear by the looks of it.. Thank you folks! think XS Power will be the one for my NA. can't afford to wake the neighbours and attracted unwanted attention from the boys in blue!
-
Hey Paul, well, I'm interested to buy now! or when can you possibly have one ready? but how much will you be selling it for? approx the same price as the XS Power or JapSpeed? Well people, looks like XS Power seemed to be the favourite. maybe I'll consider buying one. decisions decisions....second opinion anyone?
-
well, I had a look on their website and did a search and found the following link: http://www.xs-power.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=211 What do you think? its a 3", but think Homer said quite a few people in here are pretty satisfied with it. I thought about powerflow exhausts as well. for that japspeed exhaust, it will cost me 299.00 incl vat and shipping! you don't get any cheaper than that..
-
Hi guys, was wondering if I could have your opinions to this website: http://www.japspeed.co.uk I am currently searching a good enough exhaust system for my NA and their custom made exhaust seemed really reasonable in price. I'm really tempted to go ahead with this but I'm feeling a lil hesitant about it. Has anyone bought an exhaust from them before? and how did it sound on your supes?? look forward to your replies soon
-
Hi people, I was searching through some posts and threads about selecting the right exhaust and yes I would like an exhaust thats not too loud, blowing people's minds away at 5am or attracting unwanted attention from the boys in blue. I was looking at this website from Japspeed and its dirt cheap! but is it good enough for my NA? comments please

Hi people, I currently reside in Aberdeen and I own a j-spec 93 n/a auto, I'm planning to order a bomex/do-luck front bumper and side skirts for my car but I'm not sure who will be the expert that could fit them for me without ripping me off.. can anyone help to suggest a few bodyshops? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Something went seriously wrong with my car..I have an auto 93 N/A Supe...need to get it fixed and I might need another ECU..does anybody have one sitting around that they could sell? Please see diagnostics done by Hypertechscotland: "As discussed the problem with the engine /transmission control unit is that there is no voltage at the fuel pump output control terminal of the engine ecu it has been substituted by a feed from the ignition supply terminal .Also no output from the ecu for the engine management warning light .Rectification would be by possible repair to ecu internals or replacement of engine control unit . Also fault with overdrive could be related with ecu fault . A repair would also disable the car for at least one week ." Regards Duncan Stark AMIMI Can anybody help?

Hi people, I need some help with my problem.. I own an auto 93 N/A j-spec Supra, its currently misfiring alot and here are the diagnostics from Hypertechscotland : "As discussed the problem with the engine /transmission control unit is that there is no voltage at the fuel pump output control terminal of the engine ecu it has been substituted by a feed from the ignition supply terminal .Also no output from the ecu for the engine management warning light .Rectification would be by possible repair to ecu internals or replacement of engine control unit . Also fault with overdrive could be related with ecu fault . A repair would also disable the car for at least one week ." Regards Duncan Stark AMIMI - Hypertechscotland It seemed that it might be possible to repair and if not I might need an ECU replaced. Does anyone have a used stock N/A ECU they want to get rid of? On the other hand, I like the idea of converting to a single, how much will it cost in total to do this sort of conversion?

SupraRider replied to SupraRider's topic in Supra Chat

hey scotster, did you mean you took your car to CRD and they have problems fitting your clutch? well, I knew CRD quite well, told them about the problem I have suspect misfire, she told me that their former mechanic James has left to start up his own business, so Gary will their mechanic for now, asked them how they would go about solving my problem, run through a diagnostic check? no, they said its a matter of taking the car for a spin and guessing where the fault lies..I was quite shocked by that, not sure if I want to be charged for 'guessing' work.. since they charge as soon as you book your car in.... what do u think?
