  1. hey folks, Was wondering if anybody here in Scotland has got a full JDL bodykit fitted?
  2. Awesome! JDL kit sure looks good but will it look good on silver? do you know anybody who has a kit in silver? can't afford to do all that respraying just now.
  3. yes I totally agree..it seemed like a job for the rich! not for me I'm afraid...just had a look at some websites that sells these wide bodykits and its crazy money! of course then you also have to consider the amount of work the bodyshop will charge you for! by the sound of it, I think perhaps standard bodykits will be the way to go for the poor not so rich person like me. (maybe some of us can all attest to this?) SO>>>> how about this? standard bodykit with front and rear fenders on without the spoiler. does anybody have a pic of their car with my description? also, has anybody have experience on how much is involved with fitting the fenders plus front bumper and side skirts? and is there a particular brand of fenders to with a particular front bumper and side skirts or can this be mixed and matched? SORRY FOR SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
  4. just had a look round and I saw the full JDL bodykit without the spoiler of course. it looks subtle and not aggressive, thats a wide-ish bodykit I think.
  5. how about standard bodykits with front and rear fenders? then what sort of fenders go with the standard bodykits? I've heard its quite laborious to do as it requires blending. advice anyone?
  6. Hey folks, I'm having a big dilemma about this subject which has been battling my head for many weeks! I've got a silver supra and I'm searching high and low for a bodykit that will suit my car. Because I'm going for the 'spoilerless' look, I'm contemplating between a wide bodykit and a standard bodykit look. If anybody who has got a spoilerless supra in this forum, can you please post up some pics of your car? Both widebody kits and standard bodykits. Thanks everyone!
  7. Hey bud, take a look at this, it looks quite similar to JAERO RUFF WHEELS, I've just called Wolfrace and they recommended this wheel to me. Wolfrace Shark 18". What do you think? I like the look of those wheels you put up but I'm not sure how that will look on a silver supe.
  8. Hey guys, Thanks for all the expert advice and comments. I like the Ruff wheels but I'm just not sure if that suits a SILVER supra. IMO, I thought going for a set of 5 spoke black wheels with silver dish and studs all round look better on a silver supe. rota gtr looks quite messy and it doesn't give a clean look. decisions decisions...
  9. Thanks. I'll take that advice on board. I'm not an expert on wheels but why can't it be the same width front and back? does that pose a problem?
  10. Hi people, Can I ask everybody what they think of these wheels to fit onto a SILVER supra? These are 8.5 x 19" all round.
  11. Yes I agree with the Bomex, thats when Knight racer told me they ran out of stock. I've gone for the Blitz sideskirts..think they'll look good?
  12. Are you meaning C-WEST? I can only choose any one from the above in my first thread. Thanks.
  13. well, thats because Knight Racer doesn't have any since I'm sourcing the front bumper and side skirts from them. I've originally ordered Bomex sides to go with it only to find out today that they ran out of stock. So thats all they left me with and I much rather stick to one supplier rather than dealing with 2. I thought Blitz would look best out of the 3. YES?
  14. Hey guys, Like to get some views on this, I have 3 choices of sideskirts to go with my top secret front bumper (I'll be going on a spoilerless route) 1) Blitz 2) C-West 3) Varis Which one would you think suits best? or perhaps any sideskirts matches a top secret front bumper anyway? My supe is not wide-bodied btw. Comments asap please!! THANK YOU!
  15. wow they are expensive! sure would like to have that kind of money but I'm saving for something else. I'm looking between 600-800 in price. any good set of wheels along this price range? I kinda like the 5 or 6 spoke wheel types since I've got a silver supe, so need to be quite precise in matching them.. any advice or recommendations appreciated!
  16. Hi Keith, Could you put me on as 22 for now?
  17. Hey bud i really like these wheels! where did you get them? and how much do they cost?
  18. thanks guys! those looks really good, how about some 5 spoke or 6 spoke wheels with a nice silver deep dish?
  19. a silver supra? any suggestions and websites to recommend?
  20. I guess its for show since I have an NA and not a TT. I have a set of 19"s at the moment on my supe, but the previous owner didnt really look after them and its now all chipped and flaked (because its chromed! - a set of Zenetti wheels).. I wouldn't mind the size of it but I thought 19"s would look good on a supe, planning to get a set of springs to drop to 30mm.
  21. I'm thinking of buying a set of 19 inch wheels but there are so many choices and traders to choose from! any recommendations people? can people post up some pics of their cars?
  22. SRB Power? their website: http://www.srbpower.com it seems they are an official distributor of the original chargespeed source from Japan. I'm interested in buying a chargespeed bonnet for my supe. any feedback will be much appreciated!
  23. hey thanks! thats comforting! I'm sure it'll be a good day out...sometimes car shows can't be all that clean you know, just have to be sure in case she wants to come along... well I'll have to try calling autospray again, they were quite busy this afternoon. will let you know.
  24. I am hoping to attend if my car is up and running by then, am I too late to join this event? oh and yes I think I need to ask the question, is this quite a 'family friendly' environment if you know what I mean....I know its silly, need to cater for the mrs you know... LOL
  25. haha!! lol, this picture just said it, it does kinda look embarrassing if you have a lambo in front of you and your door suddenly goes up where theirs go out! ok folks, no lambo doors for me! and yes quite chav I must say, should stay true to our supra roots. agree?
