    GTA IV Supra

Haha, thats class. End is awesome!
  3. Arh, this had to come up when I'm skintest didn't it! If its still for sale in a few months I'll have it...
  4. Following on from my thread about ABS and power steering problems - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=210087 - in short, the red MIL light and ABS lights come on on the dash when I start the car and I get minimal assistance from the power steering, after about 5mins the traction controll light starts blinking too. The car is at checkpoint, arbroath now and they can't find anything wrong with the ps pump, and the fluid is circulating. I've heard that it could also be a faulty de-limiter, but this wouldn't affect the ABS and all this started at the same time. I have been searching around and found this thread on the aussie SF - http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=29050 They're talking about a speed sensor located behind the odometer that alters the wave signal from the rear speed sensors before sending it to the odo and ecu, and how this can be bypassed by splicing wires as its not essential. Wondering if anyone knows if the rear speed sensors only dictate the PS imput? Or the fronts have a say too, and wether this second speed sensor is on j-spec cars too? Does anyone have any experience of this mod being done over here? Could faulty rear speed sensors or this thing having died be causing the symptoms I've discribed?
  5. The stock seats in mine were retrimmed by Jurgen on import in 2006 and they're great, top quality and very comfy
  6. Yep, that would be Chris. He works at the airport...
  7. lol http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=1HW&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&q=film+2+dead+cops+trying+to+find+out+who+killed+them&meta=&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= The 4th link down gave me the answer, just read it though and not sure its exactly what you described. What d'you think? Looks pretty funny, I'm 'acquiring' it now...
  8. Just seen your post Ian, thats great info. I had the rear callipers replaced for refurbished ones a month or 2 before so it could be something wasn't put back 100% right. I'll have to get a look at it. You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the speed sensor though would you? I don't really know what I'm looking for. Thanks Ian!
  9. Are they modified oem skirts on liam's car, the new paint looks amazing, is it stock red? Who's is the black do luck one other than scott's?
  10. Lol, er... monkey sh!t brown! the affectionate name for anthracite, the sort of metalic grey / bronze colour. I dunno what they're like in real life but the photos I've seen it looks good, and pretty rare too. Can't wait to get out and about over the summer! Edit; Damn! too late
  11. Haha, google! Glad I could help
  12. Looks like a good turn out guys, I wish I'd been able to come. Hopefully get a few big meets on the go over the summer. Is that an msb supe there too? I really want to see one in the flesh...
  13. Dead Heat? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094961/
  14. Wow mate, that looks class! whats planned for the mezz level? I think Preston - suprarider was keen to get us to NEMS again, hopefully see you there if not before.
  15. Wow, thats a great result mate, whats the milage on it?
  16. Wow thats a bargin for 9k! Another great looking car Jurgen
  17. Don't go to sleep mate, you may never wake up! Definately open the windows though
  18. This sounds like a great idea, if I had the ability its something I'd love to do. I'd say the further north you go the wider your market will be as there aren't many places with decent reputations north of your area. Good luck if you do decide to make a go of it.
  19. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?

Welcome to the club mate! Take a look in the for sale section of the club and you'll likely find what you're after, there are a few breakers on here too that will be able to help you. Supras are great, I recomend you join up, the club is well worth the tenner membership and you'll need it to post in the for sale section.
  21. I don't know of any garages but I recently had mine MOT'd and the emissions were a pita. Just had a look at your car, as its a '98 you'll probably need to swap in a cat for the MOT but I'm not sure. There are plenty of lads that run post-'95 de-catted cars on here so you should get an answer. Have you tried a search? You could maybe PM a mod and get them to move it to the tech section where more people will see the thread. Nice car btw, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have planned for it. Hopefully see you at a meet sometime.
  22. Your porsche sounds very nice! I don't think you'll have too many problams adjusting to RWD, I went from a 1.9 110bhp diesel golf to a TT and as long as you smooth and take it easy to begin with then its fine, RWD is so much more fun too! Welcome to the club!
  23. Ian, I'm having some trouble clearing the DTCs. Pressing the brake pedal doesn't do it, and none of the fuses are marked ECU-B, which one would I need to remove? (see pic) I dont get the bold bit either, I jump Tc and E1 but what is the bit about DLC1 or DLC2?
