  1. That engine looks great! Top work. Been in Melbourne for just over 4 months! Eventually got out, just in time for summer. Tough going over here though, not too many jobs in architecture so working for a furniture removals company, really enjoying it, getting to drive all over melbourne and a good group of lads to work with so happy enough for now. Hows everything with you?
  2. Wow, doing some serious work there Johan! Any updates, you reckon she'll be back on the road for the summer? I want to push myself with my next car, I'd love to have the knowledge and confidence to strip down an engine and do this type of thing. Just remember to upload plenty of photos, the engine bay will look great when its finished, I'm very happy you're keeping it winning blue too! That was my main concern Geo!

I hope you've allowed plenty of time there, I went last year and it took 3 1/2 days just to see everything once! Its awesome though!!!
  4. That wing is definitely out of place! Rear spats look class though, are they VS? Cut down to a different line? They really look good.
  5. The prices are mad around that time, he'd be better to try and get out there soonish. I booked a flight to melbourne a couple of days ago incidentally, through skyscanner, found that the good deals are a few months in advance or very last min, I'm flying out on thursday! Which part is your son off to? He could also try STA travel, gives a student rate and also multiple stop, flexible round the world tickets etc.
  6. Welcome along mate, what part of Aus are you from?
  7. Sad to see you're selling dude. I've seen this car in the flesh and it is lovely, glws.
  8. Lol, the first episode was enough to put me off, plenty of other shows on at the moment that are much better. Can't wait for The Walking Dead season 2.
  9. I just sold mine to a Swedish guy and he requested the same details, and explained exactly that to me, he was a very straight forward guy and the sale couldn't have been better. Did they contact you through here or Pistonheads etc?
  10. Hedtec helmets are MSA and FIA legal, and the Snell 2005 model will be for at least another 5 yrs. Perfect for rallying, track and drift days etc. Bought it about 4 months ago and only used once for a winch competition. Pretty much as new condition, no deep scratches or marks. Only one small area where finish has cracked at the edge strip, see pics. Edit - comes with all the owner's manual, protective bag and original box. Size medium - 56 - 57cm. £90 delivered.
  11. I agree Raz. About 10 had their names down for the Xscape meet, it could have easily gone ahead for those that wanted to go, the two wouldn't have been mutually exclusive so I really don't see the need for all the over-organisation. It would have just become a local meet rather than the big end of year 'event'.
  12. Thats sucks dude, how did it happen? Hope she has a speedy recovery.
  13. If I lived in Glasgow then sure! How far from where actually I live though, TD11. In fact no, last time I went to an Aberdeen meet it took me like 2hrs to find my way out of the place EDIT; if you want to get all precise an shiiiiiiiit, Xscape would have been a 4hr roundtrip for me, Crail is over 5hrs. I don't ever have wee supra meets round here so life ain't that bad for the poor Aberdeen lot!
