I'm looking for something similar, a blanking plate rather than a box. Can anyone point me in the right direction (sorry for the hijack)?

It's not that good a deal. Standard introductury lessons are 30 minues and off the top of my head I know of a school charging £140. The tacho in the R22 starts turning over as soon as the engine is started so you're looking at about 25 minutes flight time or there abouts. The R22 isn't that dangerous as such, it's more that it's quite difficult to fly due to it's size and most R22 accidents are down to pilot error rather than machine failure.

Aye, I see, it's just a sticker. Well, no reason I have to go for defi, any decent ones will do me.

Dial faces will do me fine. I would like to have the main instrument cluster matching with all the other gauges though, boost, EGT, oil pressure, etc.

Cheers lads. Got a link for defi or El dials. I tried googling defi gauges and I can find everything except the main cluster. I've got a Blitz boost gauge and an EGT from some other manafacturer. It would be nice to get the whole lot done in the same make. I'd like to add an oil pressure gauge too. Not much point in a voltmeter but if there was space for it I'd probably throw one in for the sake of it,
