  1. What about seeing what the weather is like on the day and if it's ok then a blast it is... If the weathers crap then people probably won't turn up to JNE as who's going to stand about in the rain?? Just a thought.....
  2. Any photo's mate, what condition is the door in?
  3. Any other offers on this?? The lad has had an offer so looks like it might be going.....
  4. Yeh it is big.... There definately seems to be an interest in it though, ive had a few pm's. I think he's starting to get desperate already and wants rid of it as his wife is going mental so the first person to come back with a reasonable offer, even if it's a £200 offer I think he might seriously consider it. As I've got a N/A I've certainly got no use for and wouldn't know where to start..... I was tempted to get it myself as an ornament for the shed.
  5. Lmao.... I'd luv to see someone do something with this. I was thinking of a 'doorstop'!!
  6. Yeh that's the one...... Photo's of the Turbo now uploaded.
  7. Ohh it's definitely quite a size.... lol. Photo's will be on in the morning hopefully.
  8. A friend has a Holset HX82 Turbo sat around gathering dust. Have a look on 'You Tube'.... Search for 2500 HP Dyno. Apparently it's the same turbo fitted. He says it's off a diesel engine but doesn't see any reason why it couldn't be adapted to fit something else. There's no play on the bearings and no damage to the intake or exhaust blades. Apparently it was fitted to a 'test cell' and ran for 40mins at 1500rpm. He has something to do with Cummings Engines and they were testing some f****ng big bits of kit, this turbo was one of 4 secondary turbo's being used along with 2 bigger primary turbo's. From what I can gather, something else failed in the process and so they changed all the turbo's. He's going to try and get the oil lines that attach to it and whatever else he can. This is open to sensible offers if anyone wants it. I don't know anymore than that but if there's anything you'd like to know I can ask.
  9. Yeh.... Definitely stick my name for this them. Ben, are you updating the other thread?? (as in the list of people going).
  10. Aye he does have the odd 'Brain fart' now and again..... Sounds like a good idea to me. Lol
  11. Nah it'll definitely not be this month but it certainly sounds like there's a bit interest there so we'll see about getting it organised when the weather gets a bit better.

  21. We have a German contractor who is helping us install a new machine. He's been after an update for his Sat Nav on a 2003 plate BMW 330. He's been able to get the update over the Internet and tried burning a couple of different copies using 'NERO' and some other software. Both copies have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have any ideas for the best way to go about it or could someone point him in the right direction. Cheers in advance.
