RAF Cosford......aahhh....memories. I was in the RAF about 20 years ago as an apprentice at Cosford. I was driving a Cortina then though!! (At least all my first cars were RWD, though!)

If you put the car ownership in someone elses name you could get away with driving 3rd party. HOWEVER, if you want to tax the car, you need an insurance certificate to show that the registered keeper is insured to drive it. Also, there is NO fire or theft cover for it if you do this. Your 3rd party entitlement only covers the road risks, nothing else. Skylines are huge money to insure.

Who told you that stick on ones aren't legal? As I understand it, providing they have the white 'reflex reflective' material, and they are clearly displayed and meet the requirements of the size of plate, size of lettering and the measurement of the clear border of between the edge of the lettering and the edge of the plate itself, then the manner in which it is adhered to the vehicle is immaterial. You can even get the stick on plates with the iso or british standard or whatever it is these days printed in the corner.

'Clean' chugs sounds more ignition related to me but I'd have to experience it. If it was as far back along the fuel system as the pump, i'd expect it to feel a bit more like when you run out of fuel. i.e. run on the pressure left in the fuel system for a little while until it just fades to nothing. Sudden loss of power just sounds to me like it's more in the area of the spark. Hope you get it sorted. You don't deserve all this again mate.

There are settings for display stuff within the game apparently. Must have a look myself. Might brighten it up and make things a bit more vibrant for you. Talking of vibrant, what about the effect it gives when you crash into the armco!! Coooooool!!

Both Angie and myself have these on our Supes. Mine also has the 'Supra' badge removed. People always ask what it is then. I like the look of them. 250Horses on this site used to sell them for not alot of money.

Hi Everyone. haven't been on here since I got in from work as I've been thrashing round various circuits on GT4. Don't know if it had anything to do with me, but in our City, we got GT4 this afternoon being sold in at least 2 shops. I went into shop A at about 1pm where they told me that they couldn't let the game go until tomorrow. I told them that shop B was already selling them at £29.99 and letting it out the door. (It wasn't, but I told them that anyway!) They said they'd have to check it out and if it was true they's let it out today. I went into shop B and they said they couldn't let the game go until tomorrow UNLESS another local shop "broke the line" first. Well, lets just say that within the hour, both were selling to the public. Hurrah!!! It's brilliant! I'm off back to the PS2 now. Bye!

The Logitech wheel is the official wheel for GT4 so I would hope it would suit the game better than most.
