  1. Got any pics of your own that you might have taken of it? I think I've seen all the magazine ones of that car that have ever existed!
  2. Are you talking NA's or TT's? There are quite a few NA aerotops around. Not sure about the TT situation though.
  3. I'm planning on replacing the stem seals for the same reason. I'll try this first though! I'll let you know what happens.
  4. Didn't think I actually expressed an opinion one way or the other. It's just that this subject has been talked to death on numerous occasions and it will never get settled because people will always have their personal preference. If you want to prove your car and how great a driver you may or may not be, then just get it on the strip and get a timing slip. If you want a good idea of how one gearbox stacks up against the other, then look at the numerous performances of each type of car in the 1/4 mile times threads on this site. There is such a large spread of results on there that it should give a fairly good overall view of which is quicker if that's what you are looking for.
  5. So stop arguing about it then! You're the one dragging it out. And it's starting to annoy me now.

    Watch Ideas?

Price just keeps going up now! I thought about getting this myself, but only as a spare as it'd be a duplicate. They do the same style in other colours too. I'll see if I can find some.

    Watch Ideas?

Very nice looking watch there, Paul. And a good price for one of those too. I actually bought a similar one earlier this year when I couldn't get the one I really wanted. It was only AFTER I bought it that I started to think, 'Hang on....just look at the size of the bit that actually tells the time!!' It's smaller than a ladies watch face! (Sorry - but being an old git, my eyesight isn't what it used to be!) The one I bought was actually one of the titanium range and was amazingly lightweight. Just couldn't see what the time was in bad light. So then I managed to find the one I wanted. It was actually a cheaper watch. Not titanium, but has a titanium carbide coating and so far has been very scratch resistant. But it was the style I liked and it gets lots of comments. I've never seen anyone else with one either, and it is rather distinctive. Retail was about £360 apparently, but it can be got for under £200 on the net. It's a Seiko SNA311 and is of an asymmetric design. You'll probably either love it or hate it. I loved it, and bought it as soon as I saw it! This place in the States sells them: http://www.princetonwatches.com/shop/SNA311.asp Or there is one on ebay at the moment, finishing next Sunday, early hours. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEIKO-TiCN-PLATED-SNA311-List-525-Blow-Out-Sale-LOOK_W0QQitemZ5050103768QQcategoryZ10354QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. Could be! I think Chris was saying you can't get a front bottom without a bush, or was it a bush without a front bottom? Either way I'm sure I've seen a front bottom without a bush at least once. I'll go ask Angie........
  10. Sorry Ian. But when someone starts talking about bushes for front bottoms, even if it is in 'Technical' I ain't holding back!
  11. I'd love to see their face at Toyota if I went and asked for a plastic bush for a front bottom!!
  12. Where did the rear/mid engined info come from? I was sure when they first unveiled the car it was to be front engined with a 50/50 weight distribution. Also, look at the side view of the car. The whole style of the car says it's front engined to me. And before anyone mentions the radiators in the back, I know! They're there to allow the reduction in the frontal area.
  13. The English is soooo bad it sounds like a scammer. But then they'd probaby be offering something sellable....?
  14. When that arrow went round to 100% my jaw dropped and Angie nearly pi$$ed herself as she said 'Get YOUR result, Dick!' 20% for me, but that's tooooo much I reckon!
  15. Supposition. And I suppose the recording equipment in the patrol cars lies too?
  16. Is that Bangor in Wales or Bangor in County Down?
  17. Why would they spend so much branding their motorsport arm of the business a TOYOTA and then release the new Supra as their flagship model badged as a Lexus??? Doesn't make any sense.

    Pet's

Thanks. Yep, I know! She's gorgeous!!! (Except when she wakes us up at 6am playing with the noisiest toy she can find!!)
  19. Soop Dogg

    Cat food.

    And the other 14% is.....?
  20. Cambelt - a shade over £27 - I fitted Angies' a week and a half ago and it took about 3 1/2 hours from lifting the bonnet to firing it up.
  21. Which one?? There are literally dozens of diagrams that make up the whole picture of the J-Spec electrical systems. You'll find them here
