  1. Similar, but the thunderbolt has some new features such as the front facing camera. Hoping it comes up on the radar in the next 6 months or so.
  2. Anyone know when the UK equivalent of the HTC Thunderbolt might be available? 4g, 8GB emmc + 768 RAM, 32GB preinstalled microSD card(!!) 1GHz processor and 8Mp camera with a 1.3Mp front facing camera for using the preinstalled skype. My contract is up in August/Sept, so I'm hoping....
  3. I love the old grey UAZ van parked up in one of those pics. Bonkers vehicle - they still make them today - built like a ship! (1/2" thick steel and no suspension!!)
  4. Because that's what he wore on his 'uniform' when at 'work'. http://davidbeckham.fans-online.com/photos/59543-1/La+Galaxy+VS+Seattle+1.jpg
  5. It's happened again - this time in Sweden. link
  6. If you've always wanted to try the Ferrari, then don't pass up this chance despite what anyone thinks is the best car to drive. If you don't, you'll still always wonder if you'd have preferred the Ferrari over whatever else you might choose.
  7. Bummer. (I mean that with respect) Baker Street and Night Owl were 2 of my favourite songs ever. RIP Gerry. You brought much listening pleasure to the world over the years. 6WgDAp5AF8o
  8. Thanks, Adnan. I was brought up in a Christian household (when my parents retired they became missionaries and worked in Africa for a while before taking up roles for their organisation within the UK), and haven't really had a great deal of contact with Muslims. I guess many of us have over the last few years developed (maybe even subconsciously) an aversion to anything related to Islam because of how it's followers are portrayed in the media. You posts above however, are so well put together, showing so much consideration and respect for the beliefs of followers of other faiths, that they have made me think very differently about you as a person and what Muslims really think. The media has much to answer for.
  9. We have the C6 Corvette, Jag X-Type Estate and a Saab 9-3 all insured on an Admiral multicar policy for £870. The 'vette will only cost me £366 this year! No limited mileages or anything silly like that. AND we have full business cover on the Jag and Saab so my wife can use either in connection with her work.
  10. I tried asking a farmer, but he doesn't know anything about crabs.
  11. Scary stuff! I'll bet the ar$e of those white trousers wasn't white when they got her down from that!
  12. Following on from the other thread with the girl in the BMW that thinks her car is FWD, I remembered this one from a few years back that cracked me up. Before anyone says it, yes I know it's a repost, but I think it deserves another airing! (The hilarity is at about 1 minute in.) ec8BDnhy1-0

    boiler issues

This happened to my boiler a few weeks back. The diverter valve may be known as a 3-way valve (radiators/water heating/by-pass) but this was ok. The fault was in the same area though - the diverter/3-way valve actuator which is an electronic device that operates the mechanical valve. Could be worth getting this checked out if you get someone round too. Hope you get it sorted!
  14. +1 I bought a wheel a few days after getting GT5 and it's been a revelation for me. This game is just soooo good with a decent wheel.
  15. Well done once again, Ian. (I voted, by the way - I just didn't get around to telling you!)
  16. We have one (a 2.0D Sport) and they're great. mid 40's/gallon all day long. So well insulated (sound wise) in the back that you could forget you're in an estate car. Comfortable, reliable and not too expensive to run as it's the Ford 2.0 TDCi engine.

    fast 5

Hey! I'm the Asian Dude around here! Don't use my name in vain, if you don't mind! (See beneath my avatar) Oh - and I'm looking forward to this movie too!
  18. Don't tempt fate by driving it on an anniversary - it can't have been far off this time last year can it?
  19. I don't care - I'm glad you reposted that 'cos I hadn't seen it before. Absolutely hilarious! We couldn't speak for laughing when he was doing the bit about Metal Gear Solid! Brilliant.
  20. And maybe think about making it a sticky? It seems like it's an ongoing thread now....
  21. Has anone had a play with GT5's photomode? Some of the pics currently on the forum on GTPlanet.com are fantastic! Thread is HERE Here's a small handful of pics I liked - note these are all off the game - some photoshopped, but they all originate from the game: http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/2458/toscanatarmac.jpg http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/1425/nrburgringnordschleife1.jpg http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/960/859circuitdelasarthe200.jpg
  22. It beggars beleif how anyone can be so cruel to any animals never mind something as defenceless as a kitten. I know some people can't stand cats, but there's a big difference between that and actually being cruel to one. Personally I love cats - we have 2 of them and often remark about how can anyone be cruel to such animals. They really don't ask for much - a bit of food and some company. People who do this sort of thing just make me really angry.
  23. Hideous. They should stick to cars imho
  24. What is the precise error message that you are getting? (A screenshot is always best)
  25. I love the look of the Nissan Navara, but I wouldn't want to have an accident in one - particularly a pre-2008 one - less than one star safety rating by Euro Ncap - nice! CLICK Watch the front seat passenger's head go UNDER the airbag and hit the dashboard as the bag deployed too late. vFEokHT2ylA
