  1. Would you believe it??!! Work machine took about 8 mins to reply and the meet's cancelled.
  2. Oh go on then. 1) Me 2) Me2 3) Me Missus
  3. And before Pacers, they were Opal Mints. (God I'm showing my age now....) Anyone remember Spangles? Especially the Olde English flavoured ones!
  4. Not that as the Central locking ECU is behind the dash on the lower left side near the passenger glovebox.
  5. Erm........time you went to bed there matey.... 4MPH was the answer. (35mph - It's good but it's not right...)
  6. 4MPH (Isn't speed dangerous!!) Bobbeh was closest. PM me your address if you want the lovely side skirts - I mean vents. You'll have to pay the postage.
  7. (Sorry it took me so long - I was busy.....)
  8. And the answer is........
  9. No correct guesses yet, although one is EXTREMELY close. Best guess by 7pm today wins.
  10. I work for a major insurer and was at a conference/event thingy yesterday where the following question came up: In terms of 'likelihood of resulting in an insurance claim', what do you think is the most dangerous speed to drive at? The first person with the right answer gets a prize - a pair of side vents worth (as we all know) £130!! (Price verified by Prof Monkey) All you have to pay is postage if you really want them! (Available in black or RSP)
  11. Your new sig, perhaps? (Only having a laugh with you )
  12. I've given up counting my age properly so I've switched to counting it in hexadecimal. That makes me 29! (again. ) My wife is 33. In hex that's 21. Now I feel like a pervert.......
  13. Me too. Mine is going to be up for sale in the next few weeks too! (I'll wait until you've hopefully sold yours)
  14. Oh ffs, this is rubbish. I'm from N. Ireland - how many bad guys have been portrayed with that accent?? If everyone believed the movies, then they'd all think I was a terrorist gun-runner/bomber etc. In fact, someone I know is putting a series of short films together in which I'm doing a voice-over for the bad guy because of the Belfast accent. Mind you, he does die in the first episode.
  15. If it's a repost, sorry but I haven't been about here much lately.
  16. I often put them on if I am hooning. (As someone else said earlier.) I also put them on if the sunset is really bright and behind me, cos the cars coming towards me are driving into the sun and may not be able to see oncoming traffic very well.
  17. Seeing as how the horse & carriage rides are $40, how about asking her at the Wollman Ice Rink in Central Park? (As used in many a romantic movie) http://www.columbia.edu/~kas165/ColInvite2/images/WollmanRinkCentralParkSouth_JPG.jpg
  18. And again, Happy Christmas everyone. Had a great night here with IanC, Digsy & Alex and a crowd of other mates. Top evening folks! Look forward now to the summer bbq's!! Hope everyone has a happy and safe Christmas & New Year. Brian & Angie.
  19. I'd say that rather depends on the purpose of your photography. If you're wanting to take pro-shots for commercial use, then you're going to be spending serious money anyway. It also depends on the film that you are using and how you process it. For most of us who are at the end of the day, keen amatuers & enthusiasts, a decemt digital SLR at the low to mid end of the spectrum is absolutely fine. I have 8Mp pics blown up to 18" x 12" by a professional lab without any signs of pixelation whatsoever. I'd say that's not bad at all for what I want to use the camera for. (I've only spent about £1200 on my kit.)
