  1. Hi Mate, I'm the chap that was speaking to you at pod! I saw your 13.0 run! Sounded awesome!! I've always run hi stalls on my supras. The same day you were running, I ran a 12.2 on a stock TT auto jspec. It'll make a hell of a difference to your times at pod. I know you'll get mix opinions on here, but on a daily, it takes some getting used to. But by far, the best mod for an auto in my opinion. I'll let everyone else come and shoot me down now PS. was nice chatting to you dude. Saq
  2. Have you tried Classic car policies like FootMan James? I know guys who have points on their license and they've had no issues with it. The only issue i can see is that they may not insure it as its overly modified. But worth a call?
  3. I think Absz had one for sale, drop him a PM.
  4. Saw a black supra leaving work today in Milton Keynes, Gave the driver a thumbs up, was in a bmw 3 series, Anyone on here?
  5. Are these definitely for sale?
  6. Few questions, Where are you based? And are you looking for a straight swap? Do you have any pics of the underside?
  7. Please do this for facelift headlamps!! PLEEEASE!!
  8. That is some special work! Wonder if they nicked the running gear from the GT4 also? That would make it worth it! 4x4!
  9. Hi all, I had a question regarding the factory set speed limiter. I've bought a convertor from eBay that claims to delimit also. I've fitted it all up and its reading in MPH now but it still hits the limit at 120mph... Have I wired something in wrong? I was trying to see if I could remove the limiter by just cutting the pink cable on the ECU side as I wanted to take the car to Santapod last weekend, but with the cable cut, it still hits the limiter? Is this normal? Any help appreciated Saq
  10. I'm based in Luton so dependant on where it is....I'm IN!
  11. My one is supposed to be a 3800 but mine begins to lock at about 3000 and fully locks up at about 3500.
  12. You'd get mixed opinions here with Hi Stalls. I can only offer you my input. To me I couldn't drive a supra without one since both the ones i've owned have had 3800 hi stalls. Theres a lot of misconceptions about it causing the car not to roll when you lift of the foot brake, but thats not true. You do have to rev the tits off the car to get it moving but how quickly the thing spools up is worth it. You definitely need a huge oil cooler as it does cause the box to create a lot more heat.
  13. BoostJunky!! Good to put a face to the name mate! Glad I helped and you had more track time mate! Sounded like a jet fighter with the bung in lol! Was good day!
  14. Hmm....Does that mean I have to put my traction control fuse back in? I pulled it out as soon as I bought the car lol. Also I have a hi stall torque convertor installed. Will that make it trickey? I read something once about earthing out a pin on the ECU to get it to hold in 3rd gear?
  15. Nice result mate! Quick question, how do you dyno an Auto? Don't you have to hold it in 3rd gear and some how stop it from kicking down?
  16. Bonnet lifters please!! Also do you have the boot lifters too? Mine are shot! Price all in including postage would be great!
  17. Amazing! Not bad for a 20+ year old motor! I've got the bits now to push it a little further and hopefully drop into the 11's! Watch this space! LOL your tips are sought after mate!
  18. Any sign of the next episodes? Mr Junkie....Come in Mr Junkie!!
  19. Hybrid box with Hi Stall and massive oil cooler would be my shout for a single setup. Torque and Heat kill boxes.
