  1. All the buddies over here do the drifting and only run race fuel. They have drums of it in their garages and said if I ever want to run to Supra on it or even a 50/50 mix just hit them up. They will sell it to me Would be a lot easier if we could get E85 over here
  2. Will have my oem one available in about a months time I say, I have a PHR billet one here waiting to be fitted
  3. My supra aint going to be a daily driver, might just run it and have it mapped on race fuel, should get an extra few horses out of that Will have a look at the Borg Warner S400 series turbos and see whats on offer Thanks for the replies chaps
  4. Looking at purchasing a new big single for when my 2jz is back from its forge build. Who on here is running a Borg Warner turbo? What model are you running and what kind of power you making? Feel free to post any engine bay pics too as it be nice to see how they different ones look in the supra bay Looking at maybe an S369 or an S472
  5. Just purchase an ATI damper or Fluidyne damper, job done.
  6. The one I purchased from Whifbitz was grand, had to re-tap all the mounting holes as they were all full of fibre glass and could not thread a single bolt into them. Spoke to the lads at whitbitz regarding this and showed them pics, probably was a bad spoiler I got so they looked after me on another part I needed etc Spoiler mounts I painted the same color as the car, the blade was painted gloss black, the same as my front lip. Very happy with how it looks. I don't get caught up on all this carbon crap
  7. Can pick up a new fiberglass one from whifbitz for about 250. You will need to then paint it yourself
  8. Any pictures of it ? When was it rebuilt, proof of rebuild / who rebuilt it, any miles on it since rebuild etc Thanks
  9. How long are these off the car mate?
  10. You see the odd one pop up on here for sale every now and then. You could try contacting Gary England @ Charge Auto Styling, he might be able to make a dual pillar pod in carbon for you. His work is 10/10
  11. Just as easy to go onto Powerflex site mate and order a set brand new, not that expensive. Very good people to deal with and good shipping too
  12. I think they were available in T51R Kai T51R SPL T51R Kai BB T51R SPL BB The Kai runs 70 mm inducer and the SPL runs 76 mm inducer. The Kai will do 800 and the SPL will do 1000 bhp
  13. Does it have to be an OEM boot mat? There is a guy from memory in Germany offering a full package deal, interior front and rear mats and a boot mat. All brand new custom made. Can try and find his facebook page if you want
  14. Stealth looking engine, very nice
  15. One of the best sounding Turbo's for the 2jz
  16. This will more than likely end up going to the USA, no one in the UK or Ireland will drop that kinda money on a Supra. Goodluck with the sale
  17. I remember joining this back in 2007, the place was so busy and the classifieds section was always booming. Nowadays hardly anything good comes up for sale, takes ages to get a reply if you ask a question etc Most of the time I just put my questions on the facebook pages and get replies almost instantly I still pop on most days for a look but usually its the same threads showing since the day before.
  18. That was my concern with fan relays and possible issues that could arise. Where if you are using the oem setup you have no fear of this happening
  19. Have the engine out at the minute to be forged and was looking and changing a few other bits. Was going to swap out the oem clutch fan setup for a set of twin spal fans and shroud. What are peoples views on this and what would you recommend ? Just looking for some feedback before I do anything Cheers
  20. With proper fuel we are all limited on what CR we can run. I had to go with 8.5:1 or 8.6:1, crap fuel here in Ireland
  21. Chris Wilson commented on these a few years back ''Obviously the less oil is being lost past bearing clearances and through squirters and via oil pump wear on the rotors and housing, the higher the potential pressure. BUT given the flow of the stock pump is more than adequate to run the squirters AND allow as high an oil pressure as needed and more, (and *more* pressure is not usually any benefit), why lose the piston crown oil cooling? Seems someone thought "Let's CNC some cheap parts, sell them for a huge profit", *THEN* trying to think up a raison d'etre for them.''
