  2. Iv been looking into mappig my own e-manage for a while, im quite confident I could adjust the fuel map OK but I dont understand the timing and ignition Iv read the intructions inside out and every scrap of infomation I can get but its not enough. So decided to pay a pro now
  3. Any really its only mapping, prob keep it in the glove box

  6. It takes a good ten min to start knocking from cold and it is rev related. Time for a flush I think! A mechanic's been to look at it and said its just the noise from the cams with the breather filter being fitted and I'm being paranoid...

Hello everyone, Iv tried searching for this first, although finding a couple of topics I'm not really any wiser OK the cars been off road for about 8month now, the car run fine a few days ago before i took the manifold and turbo off (the manifold had some work done so had to be removed) Anyway I took my time putting everything back together nice and tight so it didn't have to come off again, once I turned the key it started fine but then the engine got warm I could hear a knocking from the exhaust cam area. I'm sure every things tight and put back on right so I cant understand how this could happen when Iv not even been driving the car Its booked in with Ryan next month to be mapped to Can anyone shed any light?

  13. I got excited with the welder when I was relocating the flange Its at a local machining place now
  14. the flanges. Ones slightly warped so going to get them all machined and do away with the gaskets
  15. hey guys, anyone know where i can get my t4 manifold, wastegate and turbo flanges machined? Pref in the north west so I can drop them off. thanks:)

  18. Does anyone know if I can buy a wideband sensor from the UK to plug into my e-manage ultimate? I don't want a sensor and a gauge, just the sensor plugged into the e-mange so i can log the AFR. I want my car to look stock inside and out you see. Or any traders that may be able to help me? Thanks guys

  20. I just cant afford to get it mapped twice if it doesn't make the power using this box if you know where I'm coming from. I'll have a look to see if I can duct an extra feed into it from inside the wing or something. I'll be getting a turbo blanket also Thanks guys

The cars not mapped yet, I don't know if I should get it mapped with this box on or just buy a 4" cone filter then fit the box later and see if there's any difference The reason I wanted to keep the stock air box is because I'm keeping the SMIC (replaced with new one) So the cooler air I start with the better as I don't have a large FMIC to cool it
  22. OK, i can post some progress pics if anyone's interested, I used 4" drain pipe it was a ball ache to make though wondering if i should cut an extra hole in the box as well as the two stock feeds
