Just had the claims team at my insurance give me a pay out offer of £3150! are they freaking mad! they can get screwd! absolutely furious! Its a 93 TT import! 75000 miles on the clock! How rude is that! As anyone gone through this process recently? and what quote did you get?

Yeh just read the swap, very intresting! i like it! Wel heres the thing, ive got a tt, but is a write off, so i all i need is a cheap na and labour! i would like to do it myself! BUT dont have the time, space or experience to do so!

Heres my prob; My gf has recently crashed my car and wrote my baby off! (rear end hit!) Its not a total write off, just a repairable loss, so they have decdided to write it off! So was thinking to buy a cheapish NA and convert it to a TT, which hopefully i can use my old car - once ive negoited with my insurance a settlement figure! If it all works out my way! prop wont as its just my luck. Would i need to make any big changes to the car?! My old tt has will have, engine, 6speed gearbox, etc etc! Any thoughts?

Car had a rear end smash! - couple of week back! didnt think it was a major hit! anyway, insurance had rang up today and give me a quote for parts which is stupidy ridicoulous, it comes towards £5k which has made me furious! So does anyone know/have any parts which they are selling! may be more benefical if theres a car for breaking!, Ive got a list of maybe thirty things which i need and before i concide my car, i want to find the parts! Any ideas of where i can get my stuff! Paul

Why juanchan, you in the same boat as me!? just going through a claim! Looked on Glasses book price, but cudnt do a quote! just wanted to know if they was some hard facts goin into the insurers quotes or just pure guesswork!

Thanks Guys! Cars still in st helens! as the RAC wanted to charge me £150 to take it to wakefield! Just need to find a garage in the area, where i can take the car! Insurance have mentioned warrington! but wanted something closer! any ideas? Angarak - Yep it was the gunmetal grey, i seen NA. Flukeylukey - Yep 2 wheels are dented! DOH! but il be ok! the insurance will b able to fix that! - Thanks anyway! Paul -

Yep it was mine! Yep am Gutted! BUT glad my gf is safe after driving it! Did actually see the other supra drive past! how ironic! Went like this - coming past the fire station, noone else in the road! back end started to slide, so gf corrected it, car still mounted the curb and then backed into focus! my car is ok ish! will need a new wishbone near side back! as axel is broke! and some cosmetics, rear side! Did use to live on knowsley road - literally 1 min away! but now in Wakefield! Hence why u dont see me often! Do you know any decent dealer in which i can take it to?! -
