Hi all need some quick help before it gets too dark, I'm adding gearbox leak fluid into my gearbox, I'm putting it in the higher bolt on the passengers side, but it seems that most of the fluid is coming out, Can someone confirm fore which is the top up bolt for the auto gearbox please thanks

Hi all! Small problem still holding me back from getting MOT I broke the drivers window switch unit, and it smoked slightly. Now my windows, drivers elec seat, and central locking don't work. All fuses are ok, and iv checked the pins for the switch unit and there is nothing coming through. So I'm thinking the wire could of melted???? Or something is lose from the fuse side??? Bit confused and don't know where these cables lead to. Anyhelp would be great or should I just drop it to a garage. Thanks

Thanks for the help people. So it looks like il have to source two new upper suspension arms, probably for around the 100 mark if im lucky. As I cant get a new ball joint. As for getting the car to feel fresh again, what are the main parts I should look to replacing? lower suspension arms? tie rods? As for the bush kits, they are useful to replace the old bushes on an arm with a good ball joint is that correct? So should I look towards getting used parts of a supra in good nic, or replacing the bushes with a new kit, anyone have any experience in this? again thanks for the help!

Thats the understanding I have also, But I only have one spade connection wire coming from the back of the hub. Iv separately checked the horn button and thats working fine

Hello people, This problem is a little different, When i was working on my car with the door cards off I accidently closed the door and crushed the electric windows switch and got a small puff of smoke. Since then the electric seat and windows have not worked. I have changed the switch to no avail. Can someone with better knowledge than myself tell me if these two problems are linked in someway. and what i can do to resolve them Iv checked the fuses I know about but can someone tell me if im checking the wrong ones. (drivers footwell and engine) Thanks!

Hello, am having some problems with my horn, after changing my steering wheel the horn was working fine, I cant figure out why its not working. The fuses are fine, but I cant figure out how i can check if there is a break in the circuit, Should I be getting a 12v current through the centre of the steering column and the outside is ground? If someone has any wiring diagram for the horn to help me isolate the problem or any advice that would be great thanks!

Hi guys, Been of the forum for a while with work. But need some help with a few small things to get my car back on the road. So you'l probably see a few posts started by me This one is about the upper suspension arm, according to a mechanic who i was getting to change my hubs and bearings, the upper suspension arm needs changing because the ball joint is worn. My question are, after doing some research are: 1. I can find replacement bushes which should be enough to solve the problem (right?), but i cant find anywhere to purchase the ball joints from. can anyone help? 2. What can i do to physically check the bushes and ball joint as I have never had to replace them im unsure as what they should look like. 3.Is it worth me changing all the rear bushes with a kit from whiftbitz while the rear is getting worked on? 4. while this is getting done how much extra should I look to getting the hubs and bearing changed, as I assume they cant be that hard when everything is out. Thanks in advance!

Hi, sounds good. Its the bit you actually pull to open the door from the inside, and the surround that slides over it if you have it. il also take the windows switches. how much are you looking for?

Got a small problem today, got an MOT coming up soon so need this sorted. The sidelights at the front are not working along with the front fogs (furthest out light). and the rear sidelights and numberplate lights. I checked the fuses in the engine bay and all is ok. Atm I have the dash out and drivers door card, if this makes any difference ??? Any help would be good thanks
