  1. If the rear footpath hasn't been adopted by the local council yet then it still belongs to the developer. They will be worried that if you use the gate you might trip or fall on their land and then sue them. I'm in the building trade and have seen plenty of chancers faking injuries to try and claim off the builder. If it is still the developer's land then they would be entitled to stop you tresspassing on it thereby making your gate redundant anyway. The developers are probably genuinely trying to get it adopted and the local council may in fact be insisting that there are no gates? You could phone or write to your local council's planning dept to check if there are any restrictions.
  2. It is really hard to get a good photo of a polished rim. I am also in the middle of refurbishing my Blitz Z1s and was intending to post before and after pics. I have done the two rears and they are now mirror like. But when I took photos it was hard to get the right angle to show them off. If you take it from the side then it doesnt show the mirror finish and if you take it from above you just get a photo of your own ugly face.
  3. Sounds like the club's PR men are finally trying to take the bad look off it by issuing appologies for player and manager. All the way through LFC have handled it appallingly. If they had immediately put out an appology for Suarez (even if he wasnt actually sorry ) then the whole thing would have been forgotten very quickly. They could have sent him on a course to educate him and could have actually have come out of the whole thing looking like good guys. They then made a complete botch of their evidence in the enquirey. Finally they should have decided that none of ther players would shake hands before the game. IMHO both Suarez and Evra are liars/whingers/scumbags and should take a long look at the rugby players who know how to behave like men should.
  4. I have just had a quick look at the wheels and I'm not sure if I can remove the centre section without completely splitting the 3 pieces. I dont see the silicone seal between the front and rear rim sections so I suspect it is under where the centre section bolts on. Similar to this wheel If I remove the centre section it may wreck the seal and I'm told it is a bugger to redo it.
  5. Mine have gold coloured studs so hopefully they will be reuseable. I assume they will need to be soaked in some sort of cleaner to strip off the old threadlock?
  6. Is Plusglas similar to WD40? What about torqueing the bolts when you are putting it back together?
  7. I'm just about to start the same on my Blitz Z1s. How long did it take to remove the studs on one wheel and did you deflate the tyre before removing the centre section?
  8. PHR street turbo. 517BHP
  9. I have the PHR engine mounts and TRD gearbox mounts. At tickover it is a bit of a pain as the 6 speed box rattles even more than usual. However when you give it the beans it starts to make more sense as you can "feel" the engine revs and response through your fingers on the wheel and gear knob.
  10. There are two seperate output wires with the LC1. Wire one to the gauge and one to the ECU.
  11. Just an afterthought, as 90% of my driving is in slow moving city traffic could this cause the inner side wear? If I was driving more vigorously into corners the car would be pushing into the mid and outer section of the tyre therefore utilising the camber. But because I am driving into parking spaces and in and out of lanes I am putting more full lock on which probably stresses the edges of the tyre?
  12. Typo on last: should have read -0.50 not 0.50.
  13. Bushes should be fine as all were changed to the poly bushes three years ago. I would rather I had to change the tyres every 10k (I only do 5k per year as a daily driver) than compromise the handling. I notice from the Lance settings that his front camber is -1.0 so mine at 0.50 is possibly less than optimal at present.
  14. I assume that is is unwise to reduce the camber any lower?
  15. Hi Guys, just back from the MOT and the car passed as usual:) However, the examiner pointed out that the front tyres were badly worn on the inside edge. The inside inch and a half was virtually slick while the rest of the tyre had 5 or 6 mm left. My car is running 245/35/19 Goodyear Eagle Assymetric fronts with Tein Superstreets, TRD sway bars and R2 poly bushes. Front geo is 0 toe and -0.50 camber. I know that larger wheels on lowered suspension is not ideal for tyre wear. The car drives handles nicely and I have got about 12k miles out of the fronts. Maybe this is as good as I can expect given the setup but it is a bit annoying that I am going to have to change the tyres when there is still plenty of tread on 90% of the tyre.
  16. Far too subtle a joke for this forum!
  17. Really whatever you spend on it it is going to be great value for money. If you go for a 93 to 96 uk spec (£7.5-10K?) you will match a £50k M3. If you go BPU (£10k?) you will match a £70K 911. If you go single (£15-20k?) you will match a £130k 430. If you go serious single/twins (£50k?) you will match £1m Veyron. every level of tune, if done right, will be a great car for the money.
  18. The Delivery address is my work address and there is always someone there from 7AM to 6PM. To date you have only given me a UPS tracking number for the original kit. This Reference was not recognised on the UPS online tracker. I have sent you emails and PMs asking for this latest Tracking Number but I`m still waiting. Just send me the Tracking Reference to my email or PM.
  19. Now 10 days since you said the replacement bulb was sent Royal Mail Recorded Delivery:search: You were to email me the Tracking Reference. Still waiting! Now one month since you first said it was sent by Courrier! ?????????????????????????
  20. Where is my replacement bulb mate. Now three weeks since you said you sent it by courrier! You were to give me the consignment number. You didnt! Now ten weeks since I sent you my money and I still dont have a complete kit to fit. I'm sure you will agree that I have been more than patient so GET IT SORTED!
  21. I have F1 Assymetric on my rears and they are excellent. i went with them because they got top ranking on the various tyre tests in 2008. Just looked at the 2010 tests and they all have the F1s at mid table this time. I guess the competition has moved on. Most of the reviews now rate the Continental SportContact 5P as the best. Not sure how much they are?
  22. I had Ryan over here a couple of months back to fit and map an AEM ECU on my car. The overall cost isnt too bad if you can get an E/Jet or R/Air cheap return.
