  4. Got the new turbo mapped today and after a few hickups I'm really pleased with the result. Dimitri got me to do a dozen or so motorway pulls on wastegate spring boost to get things started before we headed for the dyno. As the wastegate spring was 1.2 bar, things were pretty interesting very quickly! 150 leptrons in 5th gear Then on the last pull the intercooler pipe blew off! We drove to the dyno and patched things up. But three pulls later the pipe blew again. As you can see it was making reasonable power on the last run (1.2 bar and the pipe popped at only 5500 rpm!) Took the car to Colin at SSI to get it up on the lift to sort out the pipework. As the dyno was booked for the rest of the day, Dimitri suggested finishing off on the road. The first pull hit 1.9 bar. Obviously there must have been a small boost leak earlier? An hour of pulls later and at 1.6 bar it was pulling hard and smooth. I'll have to get it back to the dyno to see what the final numbers actually are.
  5. Not really a Supra now:search: Probably only just the body shell left?

I have read all the instructions re wiring into the injector wires, ABS, speed sensor etc but I was unsure about the actual software part of it. Is it simply a matter of flashing it with a suitable DAT file then making sure it knows which wheel is wired to which channel?

Hi Guys, I have just bought a second hand RLTC unit with the analogue controller which was previously fitted to a BMW M3. I assume that it will have to be reprogrammed to suit my car (6speed running PHR street turbo setup, AEM, 19 inch wheels etc). Is this done simply by flashing it with a suitable DAT file or does the whole lot need to be recalibrated from the beginning.
  9. Fair point. I should have said "unbiased".
  10. Will get some serious torque steer with 300 HP through the front wheels. My wife's Fiat Coupe Turbo Plus puts out 220 and that's a handfull when when driving hard.
  11. I'm obviously not going to get any reasonable replies as all any of you guys are interested in is that an english team won. Let me put it differently, if Bayern had defended for the entire game then won on penalties would you still have the same opinion?
  12. With the UEFA ticketing strategy Bayern will have exactly the same number of tickets as Chelsea as at least half the tickets are kept for sponsors, corporate etc. Anyway, good teams play well home and away. Real champions play with style even under pressure. Just look at Leinster in the Heineken Cup Final today (and I am an Ulsterman!).
  13. From memory they were the better team against ManU by actually trying to play football. Terry just missed the winning penalty.
  14. I'm not disputing that their strategy worked (with major luck). Its just that it would put me off watching football if "win at all costs" is more important than playing the game.
  15. With the amount of money spent on the Chelsea squad over lthe last 5 years you would have thought that they should have been able to hold their own with anyone. Instead they resorted to parking the bus. Even then, they needed the oposition to miss two penalties in nornal time!
  16. I was hoping for a slightly less biased opinion:search:
  17. Five and a half hours of defending surely cant represet the way football should be played.

Have you got any pics to show what it looks like?
  19. At least it has given the ManU fans something to cheer about.

Just started a new job a few weeks ago and now travel to work on a nice country road so have had a chance to open her up more. However, a couple of mornings have been cold and wet and when I gave it the beans from some lights on an uphill section the rear end got a bit out of shape. Although the car setup can handle the power in most conditions (using a bit of right foot adjustment) RLTC may be handy for those cold wet days. I'm not worried if it is the new or old style controller as I won't be using launch control and the controller will be hidden away in the centre console.
  21. They are an excellent firm. Everything is sent out within 24 hours and they usually throw in a couple of free microfibre cloths with orders over £30.
  22. The Nanolex windscreen treatment is also a good product. Super cool to drive in the lashing rain without having to turn on the wipers.
  23. The speed can be adversely effected by how far you are from the local cabinet as it runs from there to your house in an old fashioned copper cable. I am about 500m from the cabinet and the best I get is about 12mb. Still better than the 2mb I was getting with standard broadband.
