  1. Yeah I'm going to get it.. Theres a thread somewhere else where Jamesmark posted his findings. For me, the strong points are the looks (yes including the wheels) and the engine mods backed by documentation. Not too worried about the interior or the rear wheel width, if it starts to worry me, or become unwanted, ill just change it. But I dont see that happening anytime soon. Carl
  2. oh yeah... Found the link now BTW.
  3. I suppose this is what a big part of clubs is supposed to be about. So greatful for everyones help too, its not only him! Just need to find the link to join. lol.
  4. He has gone around and done a vehicle inspection for me becuase he is so helpful. Means a lot to me that a total stranger from the forum is prepared to do that to help a newbie like me out buying his first supra. I really appreciate it, and it is definately making me buy with more confidence than I was before. Thanks for your time Mark, you tha man! Now where's the link to become a member, really want to be a part of this. Carl
  5. it is... I called him up and asked him to clarify. So, day to day driving etc low boost setting is 1.1 bar on the "e-boost" boost controller, for spirited driving the boost pressure is changed to 1.3 bar. I experienced some of that spirited driving, and I must confess, it was *very* spirited.
  6. Great, at least then I'll be buying with my eyes open.
  7. thanks james and rob. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-Toyota-Supra-twin-turbo-wide-boy-460bhp-or-more_W0QQitemZ250179113662QQihZ015QQcategoryZ18290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem My number is 07828786661, drop me a text or pm me and ill keep you posted and see if either of you are available. much appreciated.
  8. Who would be willing to look over the widebody supra with me, before I actually purchase it? Would pay beer money and travel money if you are local / localish. Love the looks, its just in case I am missing something obvious. Carl
  9. I'm interested to hear about any of the "problems" he has allegedly caused, since I'm seriously considering buying a car tuned by him. As for his "single" garage I looked hard on his website, and could only find the one below, is that the one you mean? http://www.futuremotorsports.com/items/0_1440/7cd6e56db35d.JPG http://www.futuremotorsports.com/items/0_1440/238b5a604c33.jpg
  10. Sure, but this this case, "low" boost is not 0.8 bar, its 1.1 bar. In most humble newbility, Carl

  12. I guess we all dont learn at the same pace. Must make teachers jobs interesting...
  13. ..... Yeah, it does have the stock turbo's BUT they have been uprate with steel internals.. Anyway. I got her mostly for the looks, any extra power it has is welcome. Oh, and ill turning down the high boost setting to something a little more protective of the uprated turbos. At least I hope I will.
  14. What ever its real BHP is, it feels so powerful. More than my stock 250 BHP Skyline, or any of the old supras I used to drive. I swore when being driven in it, and swore when driving it. Such was the unexpected power. Yeah, It's car lust and self indulgence, but my attitude, is you only live once - unless you're into re-incarnation. "Incarnation"....... cool name for a performance car part shop.
  15. Power is enough for me. ...
  16. Lol guys. All I can say is that I like it very much. Very Much Indeed. As for Carlos Fandango.... Lol, thats what my mechanic calls me, wait till he sees this car....
  17. yeah it looks high dont it? fortunately I love that look. .... and yeah the quarters are defo a plus point. I have never been in a car faster, better looking, or more powerful than this. I was thrillingly scared - alton towers style.
  18. Thanks guys.. Yeah it is that one, and i have seen the dyno's, and of course they are j spec turbo's but with the steel internals (have seen the documents to show the fitting). I'm excited about this car, and am glad that someone (Ric) from the forum already knows the owner & the car. Its done about 55k. Carl
  19. I wonder if you could give me an idea of what the car I hope to buy is worth.
