  1. thanks guys. I will chat to Chris about this. I feel enlightened. I can't live with my supra how it is, its way too scary to drive over bumps and uneven roads.

    hahahah. Thank you.

    yey!

Got my membership pack today! its great, thanks :-) also, I fixed my headlight problem without even taking the front lights off, the plugs on on of the units had simple come off - or not been replugged! I'm one happy guy!
  4. cool seems like im not the only one who has exhaust note trained cats then. wonder if any local budgies will end up following the first turbo too?
  5. You ever have mates take thee pee and say "how many cars you got now?"
  6. true adam, but i can compare them if i feel like it not saying they are in the same league though, but as you say it depends on the setup,. my gtst has a stock engine. so you have and use a supra and a r32 gtr?
  7. oo thanks chris. so i should not just put eibach pro springs (for example) on stock 55k mile old j-spec suspension?
  8. Lol, can't fault your attitude, you've got tons of experience and are not doing it on a whim.. Looks like like you appreciate things in life. You're not mad at all LOL.
  9. It's a bit sad in the age of low carbon and shit, but im going to hang on to my old car as a cheap runaround. unless someone offers me what I paid for her. That way, i will really appreciate the supra, and use her when i need to. So what if i pay two lots of tax and insurance and MOT's. We only life once right?
  10. wow spooky shit. anyone actually believe in the karma thing?
  11. no man, they follow it then follow me when i get out. mind you my cats will follow me anywhere on foot if it's after dark.
  12. tempting. I guess you have had many holidays there, so you know about it and have researched it? I'd be to scared to bum out and do that. Maybe its something one does as one gets older and fed up of UK weather etc. But with house prices here, and if you have capital and don't care much for UK lifestyle.. why not?
  13. qsc let me know how you go on that , becuase lookswise i know what you had in mind and its the dogs "bullocks". seen it on an import in japan on ebay. Carl
  14. maybe that link is best removed. if i was drunk i might enter my details by mistake. easily done.
  15. do you know if i can just buy the insides? and then put my glass uk spec cover on the front? Carl
  16. Lol! funny shit whitesupra. grabbing a cat mid pounce is cool
  17. It will look more bling for sure. :-) If I had the choice though I would change the front bumper and the wheels only. not the colour. Carl
  18. lol, should have thought of that one. Yeah, ill let the cat out of the exhaust.
  19. Ah finally, I think this is what I will need, one day. Is it glass or plastic? and do HIDs work with it?
  20. Thanks. So both the shock/damper and the spring plays a part in adjsting the ride stiffness? Is spring the same as coilover, or how they different? Thanks
  21. Thats interesting homer, thanks. so I can only add new springs if I have good condition bilstein shocks? I have standard jspec shocks so new springs are not an option? Why do you feel generic jap shock/ spring replacements are a waste of money? Thanks Homer, Carl
  22. This is when im i coming back in my skyline, parking away from the house they run to greet me. I wonder then if they will train to get used to the sound of the supra. Im a bit worried that a similar sounding car will lead them off on a wild goose chase. Carl
  23. I hear there are springs, and then there are the suspension struts. instead of replacing the whole thing all around the car, can I just go for springs. Maybe firmer springs? Im on standard shocks and springs. On the rear there is a rubber insert that gives ride height and stops bottoming out. My mechanic advised TEIN suspension all round, but this would be about 1 grand all fitted. seems very steep. help please. In newbieness. Carl
  24. I have one. pm me for pics, and make me an offer. It was taken off becuase of the upgrade to FMIC. Or get a new one as Jamesmark says above.
  25. bought the kit in a wild spending spree (cost £8.99) I dont think veil splitters are easy to take off, so i will have a go doing it on the car on a dry day - maybe next year huh? And im going to look into getting a splitter protector - somekind of strip that u stick or fix on underneath.. i heard they were on ebay.. Carl
