  1. When i was a bit younger me and my mates used to go for a drive on a friday night. We would take turns of driving each week while the others would have a few beers. We used to chip in for petrol money and just go in any direction and catch up on whats happened during the week and plan the saturday night assault on the pubs. We sometimes didnt get back in till late but one of the guys used to take the petrol and in about an hours time start giving it 'oh im tired guys i might just head in' stunt. When his tank was well topped up!It used to p*ss the rest of us off. When we used to go out on the saturday night he used to turn up with hardly any money and never seemed to go to the bar but seemed to end up wrecked on our money. Now i dont mind funding a mates night out if he is short but it was becoming a regular thing and the rest of us clicked and we had enough. So one weekend we cable tied him to the bar with heavy duty cable ties and made him fund the evening to everyone elses amusement. We only let him go when he was touching cloth,I was tempted to let him get damp.

  16. While checking all the levels in my mk2 golf my neighbour came out and started chatting to me.Getting ingrossed with the conversation i picked up what i thought was the brake fluid and topped up the brake reservoir. Both the engine oil and brake fluid were in yellow containers.I stuffed kitchen paper into the reservoir to try and soak up the engine oil i put in.Trying to stop that golf was fun had to get the full system drained.
  17. Bad earth? Put the lights on and the indicator at the same time, if they start flashing weird its a bad earth. Trace the wiring loom back to the nearest earth point, unbolt it, clean it up with sandpaper and bolt it back in.

  21. Cat A = crusher Cat B = parts can be sold off it Cat C = light structural damage, repair cost over a percentage of the vehicles agreed value Cat D = light damage easily repaired, written off due to repair cost over a percentage of the value and salvage and courtesy car fees push the price over the value. or no longer parts available for the vehicle I think thats correct, can someone correct me if im wrong.
