Only once a year but every year and now it is even further away. I know i don't have to go if i don't like it etc, but was just making a comment on something closer to us and an effort made for numbers would be a nice change.

I also enjoy the road trips, just dont enjoy the costs to get to these events every year.

Would be nice to see something organised a bit closer to home. Taking into account the few hundred for fuel alone, then the hotel, then the tickets for the event then to feed and water yourself it becomes an expensive jolly. I doubt if anything was organised closer to us there would be the same commitment made to come up. I can't speak for everyone up here, but i think that is the general feeling up here. We are missing out on quite a few of the club activities, it is a shame.

The next time i have a headlamp to be repaired in work i will take photos and let you guys have a look. I couldn't believe the end result. Might even try and get a hobbyist thing going once i get sorted.

The should come up with a machine polish and compound. We have stuff in the work from a company called Kent Industries. It is a headlamp repair kit. You flatten the lense to the stage that you have and the kit has special type of laquer in it which you have to spray on through a spray gun. Just spray it onto the lense let it dry and it comes up like brand new. Once i get a compressor im gonna give this a go and hopefully sort out the age old problem of milky Supra lights.
