  1. Just had mine insured with Competition car insurance as well. All mods declared, full value agreed and £786 all in!! Spot on I dealt with Martin, who said he can get great deals for members of the forum. His direct number is below: 01159682414
  2. People fall out of love from time to time, but the grass isn't greener on the other side!! lol The Supra still ticks alot of boxes for what people want in a car, circumstances and plans change and I'm sure there will be as many new builds as there are car's being broken.
  3. Looks mint mate, love the clean front end look
  4. Abz, you need to park it in a safer spot next time Hope it all works out Jamie!
  5. Lol at your title change!! It's still a beast, you prob won't even feel 100hp here or there!! Lol
  6. Insane there's Deffo gonna be some rubber trails behind you then! Lol Out of interest when did the old tubby come on full boost?
  7. Looking good bud When's the mapping due? Full boost around 5k on this one then? Should be a bit lively!
  8. I agree, single roller systems work well without many strapping issues like on the DD. Its a shame there's not many around here. There is a land and sea Dynomite dyno that has just opened around the corner from me, apparently rated to 1500hp but I have no experience of them before. I think Bjork ran his car on one of them before and his results seemed about right for his 1/4 mile traps
  9. There could possibly be a feature in JP Magazine on this event as well guys so sign up while you can!! With the variety of car's attending it's shaping to be an epic event
  10. Ah, thats a shame, hopefully another meet then. You can get some more outputs through a digital dash as well, if you go down that route that is...
  11. I think he's running the AMS Alpha 12 kit, will be good to see how it compares to Jurgen's setup
  12. Looking good bud! Any plans to run it at suprapod?
  13. I'll be signing on the drag racing as soon as I can confirm my car will be ready. I'm currently changing setup, but if there's not enough time will just bring it back out on the old setup for the day. Hopefully will have confirmation in the next few days.
  14. Did Frank say why it may be happening?
  15. LOL Too many issues around dyno figures nowadays, and my hub figures at AME seem high for the boost. If someone asks me how much power the car has, I normally say around 500hp. It makes life easier that way! One definite advantage is that the hub dyno's are awesome to tune on, and don't ruin your tyres!!
  16. It's all in the old thread, there's enough examples to prove either argument. I had my brothers GTR run a hub dyno then a dd a week later and there was 17% difference. Theres examples for whichever argument you want to push. It won't affect my sleep at night whatever anyone believes. From an objective point of view though it would be good if someone could actually explain how a hub measurement is equal to a calculated flywheel measurement.
  17. I have been saying dans dyno reads higher than others though.... Something is definitely up somewhere when hub HP is calculated as fwhp, physically it's never going to be the same measurement.
  18. Glad your getting it sorted bud. Who fitted all of this stuff?
  19. Very interesting read here if you got the time... Alot of information with regards to the Garrett vs PTE turbo's and reliability http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=481264
  20. It makes the car feel faster, and it could possibly be on the road, but will slow you right down on the drag strip
  21. Congrats Mark! Nicely done. May as well put my 60ft time in here as well. 1.34 60ft 3.4 engine GT4780 turbo 14psi boost
  22. Nice I thought it may have been, especially after I saw some of the results Alpha got out from it. Should be a really nice fat power band with that.
  23. The right spec car's still get the money. £27k would be cheap for someone wanting a car with this sort of spec. KDW's went for £33.5k by just advertising on here.... But the parts will net more money in the end.
  24. Try selling it first of you decide not to keep it, as said it would be a shame to break it, as well as a headache for yourself
