  1. Vijay's all safe and sound resting at home. It was very unfortunate. Just glad everyone was safe and sound. The GPS speed was over 220 and still pulling, we will probably know the exact speed once we checked the SD Card. Tyres were R888's, no idea as to why it came off the rim, but thank God that it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
  2. Excellent result, well done to SRD and Ryan for an awesome machine! It sounds like a fighter jet when on boost! lol Abbey's dyno is quite conservative in comparison to other Hub dyno's, so that was a very impressive power figure! Bring on the Ethanol map next
  3. It just depends on what current the ECU's injector drivers are built to see. Syvecs know what the ECU can safely run current wise, so it may have started, but it would be a risk not worth running for the sake of fitting a resistor box. The higher currents could play around with the injector drivers on the ECU and just cause damage which isn't necessary.
  4. From what I understand low impedence injectors run a lower resistance in ohm's compared to higher impedance injectors. If you run 12v through them with their lower resistance you create a higher current. This higher current can be high enough to burn up the ECU. The resistor pack just adds resistance to the injectors so less of a current is seen by the ECU and you won't be in risk of frying it.
  5. Seeing this thread makes me want to get back into a Supra! lol Here's a couple old one's of mine
  6. Awesome work bud! That turbo looks perfect in your bay Are you going to fit the intake pipe as well?
  7. The stroker brought spool up by around 5/600 rpm in comparison to a 3.0. The way a stroker drives off boost as well is great. You have a nice low down grunt and it was effortless for the turbo to come in, even with a large T6 framed tubby. The area under the curve increases, as well as the peak torque. The only issue with using a 67mm turbo on a stroker is, that due to the extra efficiency of your engine, the turbo will be running out of puff that much earlier as well. However, this then opens up the opportunity for you to have the option of using a slightly larger turbo, gaining more power and torque, yet retain the driving characteristics of the smaller setup.
  8. Seen this car in the flesh, and it's sounds Great car for the money!
  9. I think they had some issues with the SP Valve on Steve's wangan Supra when they tried it last time, and it worked better without? IIRC It was when Andy owned it though... With the ring and pinion kit as well as the T67 DBB the power is going to come on really quick anyhow. If it does come on any quicker you will have traction issues. The extra costs to buy and fit it won't be worth the gains IMO.
  10. Jay did you collect it ok this morning then? Teddan, they tried delivering a few days later apparently but couldn't get through to you. I sent them with TNT not UPS like the cooler, as for the large items it was cheaper I've just got everything back this morning, and your new tracking is: 1Z61E56R6895195589 Its 5 packages in total. I would suggest to keep an eye on it just in case, I will try as well, but I'm not always online so best to keep an eye yourself too. I'll pm you my number if you need to get through to me quickly.
  11. It was a Supra, and I'm not sure on the rev limit either.... It was really fun though, went to the top speed very quick for it's power and a very different type of drive in comparison to a stock geared version. It really did fly through the gears. It would be great for a track car, and if the top speed with your setup is 175 then that would be more than enough for the roads as well.
  12. Just to add, I have no idea what tyre sizes he had on either...
  13. I've sat in a car with that final drive. He had around 650hp, and it is really really fun. Extremely easy to control drifts (if that's your thing), and flys through the gears. The con was the top end was really pretty poor. It seemed to get there so quick that you are left feeling that you need an extra gear. It was indicated around 140 on his GPS IIRC...
  14. Thanks for letting me know guys Jay the clutch is pending at the moment, someone was supposed to collect tomorrow as he paid a deposit a while back. If he drops out ill call you. Just pm your number across
  15. A heap which helped your current car to be developed into what it is today
  16. Can't wait to see this finished. People better watch out when this comes in the rear view mirror! Lol
  17. Yup that's it. I had VWR machine in the billet compressor housing insert. Checking through my emails and Cody sent a video of it getting done Pretty cool
  18. Your car is gonna be mental on boost! lol One of the screamers is diverted back into the D-Pipe already, and the other one is VTA. You can easily vent them both in though if you wish... I preferred it like this though
  19. Thanks JB Not looking good I'll try calling around tomorrow then.
  20. I had a friend from the states contact me today with regards to some lights he ordered from Ric. He ordered them over a year ago an paid £625 for some top secret style new lights. Ric mixed up orders, and accidently sent out some used scrap lights 6 months ago to Jeremy, while sending the top secret one's to another customer. He promised to send the correct lights 6 months ago. Jeremy has been trying to contact Ric for his lights for the past few months to no avail, he's stopped answering his calls as well. Does anyone know if Ric is ok? I know most members had great results from him and a few know him personally, but Jeremy is stuck ATM and just wants to know what's happening. If anyone has any contact with him or knows him can they find out what's happening?.. I can collect the lights off him myself if he has them ready.... Any help is appreciated
  21. Just a thought, but I wonder if there would be a big a witch hunt if there wasn't an allusion of "dodgy asians" being involved?... Pm's asking for passport scans makes me LOL High Wycombe is only 30 minutes up the M4 from London, there must be one member who is local to them??
  22. Not many left with a true 850 atw to get a ride off now, but it can be very fun On pump fuel with 946 at the hubs I would make 28psi at 5k rpm and pull all the way to 9k. Granted it was a 3.4, but a well specced 3.0 setup can perform the same. With a built block, a billet 7175 and loads of boost you could make that power and it would be loads of fun. But as said remember tyre choice and suspension will be key for big power setups. If your sticking with a 3.0, go for a higher 9:1 compression setup. If you match up the right head/ turbo setup with that engine, it will be very fun to drive.
  23. Yes of course you have They're only in High Wycombe, it's not on the other side of the world. I'm sure we have alot of members in that part of the country who can swing by as well. 95% of car dealers buy car's cheap, try and fix them up and sell them on. One of the reasons I would never buy any car from a dealer myself. I have no idea on their quality of car's, but do know if most of the dealerships around were scrutinised like this they would be in the same boat. My advice, stay away from dealers and buy a Supra from an owner who has full history, and a verified reputation. If you want something specific, call Jurgen and he'll do you right. His prices reflect the quality of his car's. Buying cheap is always gonna cost in the long run
  24. I didn't ask the guy his name as I didn't speak to him. I was there only to drop my car off to someone else who was buying from them. I only say what I saw.
  25. Not bought a car from them, but I have been there before. The buyer of my Silver Supra came from Germany to buy a car from them and collected my Silver one at the same time. I met him there as he said it was easier for him, rather than navigating in London. The showroom was decent looking, and the person dealing with my German buyer was professionally dressed in a suit and was what you would expect from a dealership. I would say it was a medium sized business with quite a fair few cars in the lot. I was only there for 10-20 minutes but from what I saw it is a decent looking establishment and no way a bunch of bedroom traders.
