the coilpack clips where fine when we took them off, its getting looked at over the weekend to see if we've missed anything. the missfire starts at 3-4k and does it slightly at 5-6k, when this happens the car doesnt pull as much as it should

i wanted them done at the same time as when i was getting the belt etc done, there in now so that doesnt matter- what matters is its misfiring and im needing somethings to check to solve it? the boost is running about 1.0bar

they are 256 and 264 cant remember what ones intake and exhaust

I've just had HKS cams fitted to my 93 3.0 TT j-spec supra. When i accelerate up to high revs the car starts to misfire between 4 and 5k rpm and it stops pulling as hard. this happens in 3-6th gear, this never happened before the cams where fitted. any ideas whats wrong?

lol use taking the piss i no the car sucks in air,but the turbo doesnt usually do it unless im driving, even when the car is warm and i let it settle at idle it still does it

so is this ok? it never done it before, used to only start when i started accelerating.

I just had HKS cams fitted at the weekend, i got up this morning and turned the car on i could here the sound of a turbo drawing in air, this was me sitting at idle, car cold. my boost gauge reads from the bottom 50 25 0 0.5 1 etc my car when sitting at idle usually reads 50 but this morning it was sitting at 25. when i drive the car and im in gear with no revs it reads 50, as usual, but when out of gear or clutch in its back up to 25??? any ideas M

done this not so long ago piece of piss, i used a screw driver to jam the wee tab bit from turning, once i had both nuts loose i jacked the hub up so the droplink went slack and slid out- dont know if i was just lucky but mines came off no bother - didnt stop the clunking though still a mystery

im no expert on these so this is my first guess, to me it sounds like the IACV is sticking somtimes. i don't know if thats right or not but i did try lol i that post has things to do with the turbos in it including a drawing of the pressure map system. hope that helps M http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926 Problem 4: I can't get any boost on the first turbo, it oscillates around a low boost pressure. A rare one this, your IACV is stuck open, and every time turbo #1 makes boost it takes pretty much the easiest way out - via the non-spinning 2nd turbo and back out to the air filter. It's like Problem 2 but happens all the time, not just at the transition point.

how do i remove the suspension to get into the bump stop?? step-by-step would be helpful cheers

the exhaust is solid i tryed that, subframe seems solid to me i tryed that also, none of the bushes look badly worn either. i read a post on this about clunking etc and someone mentioned the bump stops being fitted the wrong way, seemed to make sense since the springs have been changed and it clunks both sides? the boot does have the common speaking noise but i dont think its that which is causing it. M

Have a clunking noise from the rear of the car, both sides, somtimes it sounds a bit like somthings loose like a slapping noise lol if that makes sense. i've checked everythings tight, i changed the droplinks today and still it happens. my next thought it could be the bump stop from when the previous owner has changed the suspension. it happens mostly over uneven road how do i check this easily, this will be on the driveway not a ramp ? if its not that what else could i try? cheers M

yeah i bought them off ebay lol didnt know that there was a thing on here to get them, will they still go on my supra?i will need to get the one bit that faces the reverse way tho lol

hi got myself a set of el glo dials, i went to fit them 2nite but i noticed that if i was to fit them then the petrol and temp gauge needles would both point the opposite dierction from the scale lol backwards basically. i would put up a picture but im in work and the comp wont let me do that, is ther a way to fit them or do i need to buy a sperate bit??? cheers M

right i found the bit that the picture is looking at but mines looks a bit different from that, any better pictures lol ;p
