  4. Cheeky beggers Ah Ill do a google search. I saw it in Stow on the Wold in the Cotswolds, (mum has a shop there) There was a vintage car meet/show nearby so there were loads of cars like this around... + Stow on the Wold isnt exactly a poor area!
  5. ... lol and please dont say 'Golf' or 'Zafira' (or what ever that people mover is)
  6. I didn't get chance to get a proper photo, but, it looked gorgeous!
  7. I think your right Geo! I did a bit more research... apparently their 'family mechanic' has given a list of things needed replacing... ok here it goes! Break Pads Speedo cable Starter motor Tyre Air Pressure Rear suspension felt a bit soft The starter motor, ok thats bad luck, I had no idea that was on the blink! I laughed at this, its a 2nd hand bike and hes arguing over tyre pressure and the suspension being soft!? Its a bike!!! Tighten it or lose a few pounds! Lastly he knew the speedo cable didnt work, he test drove it. Anyway a new one only costs about a tenner. And break pads!...take a hike and do it yourself!? man!
  8. No they didnt sign any sold as seen contract. Just the V5 Logbook. I honestly dont understand how so manythings can go wrong. Ok, maybe the starter motor did rattle itself loose and I didnt notice (possible) But if the suspension had gone, surley I would of felt that when riding it! I rode it only a few hours before I sold it! Yeah, the son came to see the bike, took it for a test drive and everything. Then came back later with his dad and some money....
  9. Hey Guys, Id appreciate some advice. I just sold my little RS125 motorbike yesterday for £900. I have just had a call from the guy who brought it to tell me, buy the time they got it home the starter motor was hanging off, the suspension has gone and its dangerous to drive. Obviously they are wanting their money back. Now Im a straight up guy. I knew of none of these problems existed and I have been riding it daily! Its only just come out of my garage a few months back and they reported no problems with it. I didnt mean to sell them a dud, I loved that bike and Im kinda inclined to give them their money back because I know I would be gutted if I just brought something and it was knackered. But, I also dont want to get ripped off if they have ragged the life out of it and left me with a huge bill... Anyone know how you know if the suspension has gone on a bike? Im sure hes not talking about the front because I KNOW they were fine! Am I right in thinking legally I have to give them their money back, 24hours thing... ? Cheers

  14. Correct me if Im wrong, but I would of thought thats a tad on the expensive side. I assume its BPU as its got a FMIC, but apart from that and the bodykit+wheels, its a normal tt?
