Thing is, the bloke who sprayed it before didnt take off the seals etc, and instead masked them - so now there are bits of sliver chipping off rounf the rubbers etc. Its got metal flake in it, so i cant match it properly, so im going to have to go for full respray in the base pearl colour, without the flake. Ideally i would have just touched bits in, but ive have taken the original spoiler off and the dick spray around it, and im about to take the mirrors off and the no doubt will be shite too under neath. Theres only so much you can cover with stickers

What about activator ? Has anyone else got any comments? Ive not sprayed before, and in three weeks i have to order and prep everything for doing the supra - so i need lots of help really. Ive got a 5 car garage which im putting a space heater in, and sheeting up a booth. I dont know what the car has been sprayed in before, but as it was sprayed this march - im guessing 2k, due to laws on selling cellulose changing last year Any tips etc ? Got a suit and mask, got a gravitiy gun and compressor. Was going to lightly sand the paint and just go for it. Will i still need to primer ontop of other paint ?? Thanks for any help

At Smeatharpe, nr Dunkerswell. Everyone welcome, its a great day out - some ultra quick 800+ bhp Supra's there as always. Lots of bikes, americans, italians etc. £5 to get in, and everyone is welcome to join us, on the TuningHouse stand (bring your car over) for a BBQ later in the day. 1st race is at 11am, we will be meeting at McDonalds car park in Newton Abbot at about 8 am and leaving at 8.30am sharp (if anyone wants to convoy up with us). £20 you can run all day long (you can get loads of runs in too), just bring your helmet and licence. There are Trophies for pretty much everything, from best stand to fastest Jap/Vaux/ etc etc. Support your local drag racing, the more that go the more we can get next time - would be nice to have a Santa Pod in the true south. Can you just explain the battery clamp bit please - is it the bits that go right over the battery securing it to the base ? If so ill have it delivered please matey

Standard spoiler in good nick from my 1996 supra. Its sprayed in a non standard blue colour, so you WILL have to spray it of get it sprayed. The paint isnt great on it, but there are NO chips or dents etc. Pickup only due to its size - from Devon (Torbay), im asking £50

ive just removed both the plastic facias. Im am slightly concerned about the fact they have a 20mm lip all the wat round as part of the clear plastic. I havent got my glass ones yet, but im assuming they dont have this ??? I take it i have to dremel the platic lips off the old ones and bond it to the glass ? Or should i just wait for the glass ones to arrive and see ?
