  1. Hey Dave Thanks and no worries, i know what you mean - distance can be a bit of a pain! it was sold to the first viewer! i still think about her alot....is that concidered cheating?! lol
  2. Hi folks, would be grateful if you could let me know your thoughts on my advert, I'm not generating nearly enough interest. Is it the price? Advert? The market? Or just a bad time to be selling? Cheers
  3. hi, what suspension components you after? i have full spring set and front shocks for sale from 93 jspec NA 80k miles - if ur interested? =]
  4. Nice car, im part of your compitition mate but GLWS! it really is a waiting game!
  5. cheers buddy im confident that one of the first few to see the car will buy! im not smiling though, will be gutted to see her drive off!
  6. Reluctantly selling my late 93 mk4 Supra 3.0l Auto (2JZ-GE) in gleaming black on an L plate, L684NNK with only 89000 miles on the clock! Pride and joy for almost 2 great years, but need now to consolidate down to one car. The car was imported from Japan on 1st April 2004 and I am the 3rd owner since then, and as a result the car has virtually no rust! Paintwork is in great condition (one or two very minor scratches) and is one of my favourite colours for the Supra. I have maintained the car to a high standard regardless of cost as this was my daily drive for a while so had to be dependable and comfortable. Has had a service before every MOT which it has passed every time and regular check-ups in between. The car drives really well and smooth with no stutters, smoke or leaks at all. I have spared no expense on the car and kept all details and receipts. Over the years previous owners have passed on various bits of documentation so there is an A4 folder full of info, including the original Supra manual in Japanese! The car has been converted from KM to Miles professionally by the 1st owner on import @ 93000km (57788 miles) - the odometer wasn’t reset so the 1st 93000 are KMs the rest is miles. The same owner also fitted a Meta alarm system with immobiliser, which comes with 2 fobs. The car has had the rear fog lights wired and built into the existing cluster – in fact the plastic JDM headlights have been replaced with UK glass ones as well. I’ve done 18000 miles in the 2 yrs I’ve owned the car (a lot of it motorway miles), and the car has been a consistent performer with no breakdowns whatsoever. I bought the car on 1st July 2009 with 106000km on the clock and where it was almost standard, with the exception of a cracking set of 18” alloys, a touch screen double din DVD/TV player, and tinted windows. Since then over the years I have made a couple of tasteful modifications: Apexi Air filter, Eibach lowering springs, Koni adjustable dampers, and HID 8K dipped beam kit to name a few. I have spent in excess of £4k on the car on parts and maintenance, most of which was my preference, not because I had to. Anyone that hasn't driven the Auto please don't be put off by this i am very surprised at how good they are to drive, the car still shifts as much as the manual! It has overdrive and a MANU mode for more of a "manual" driving experience. The car has had the following parts replaced due to wear and tear or upgraded in my ownership: 2x Rear 245/40/18 Falken 452s 2x Front 235/40/18 Nexon 3000s 3 out of 4 calipers replaced New battery New alternator New driver side window regulator New Fan / Aux belt New droplinks all round New Koni adjustable dampers New Eibach lowering springs (lowered 20mm front, rear is standard height) New NSF lower arm 2x new rear upper arms 1x used rear lower arm Full suspension Geometry Apexi hard pipe+filter (Sounds great!) New Boot rubbers HID 8K dipped beam kit fitted (icy white) Dashboard conversion to White LED Had Installed red custom LED foot-well lights Most recent service (May 2011) New sparkplugs New distributor cap New rotor arm New HT Leads New brake pads Chassis inspection – all good and rot free Oil change Fuel filter change. The timing belt was changed by the last owner @101000km (64000 miles) with stamp under the bonnet and receipt of work done. Car currently reading 124248 = 89036 miles so a good few miles till the next belt change is due. Tyres have plenty miles left in them as well. The inside of the car is very tidy with cloth seats up front and faux leather at the back. The floor carpets are all clean with genuine Supra mats, the original flare is still there in the foot well as well. The boot carpet is also clean covering all the original tools and space saver wheel in the polystyrene boxes underneath it, the parcel shelf roller cover is also present and working. The driver seat is fully electric and working, and all seats have no rips or tears. The dash looks good with no obvious scratches etc, and both glove box doors close tightly and the lower one locks. I have installed 2 boxed 6x9s and amp in the boot (I would like to keep these and not sell with the car). I read about upgrading the stock speakers, and was about to do this, but after investigating I discovered one of the previous owners had done this already – Alpine slim jobs up front and bigger Alpines in the rear. The A/C has been topped up as well and blows very cold when required. Just stuck another 6 months tax on and is up at the end of this year, it has also just sailed through its MOT, no advisories - now comes with 12 months MOT. Genuinely gutted to be selling up but I knew this day would come sometime! I have been as honest as I can about the car and all the details in this advert and I think £2795 on the nose is a fair asking price for the car. It is completely standard other than the parts mentioned earlier. Viewings are of course welcome and I will happily take out serious buyers for a test drive. Can take more pictures on request. Any queries please don't hesitate to ask, I've also advertised it on PistonHeads (http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2875885.htm) Pics: http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/398799a1.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/bd51efa1.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/0c35cecc.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/328c90eb.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/8f2acbe6.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/94483a90.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/89caee06.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/ef7c09e7.jpg http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd206/dangerousdave82/Car%20Pics/fc3b8103.jpg Thanks, Dave
  7. Hey what were ur figures if u don't mind my asking? Manual or auto?
  8. ok so i have taken a picture of how the osr droplink is currently installed on my supe - as you can see, the bottom "lock tab" sits against the arm....where as the top one is sitting there pointing to the sky! does anyone know if these tabs actually serve a purpose? or are they there purely for installation purposes so that when you tighten them up it can lock against the arm/arb so the nut etc can be tightened properly? The nsr lock tabs seem to be sitting ok and against the arm/arb Thanks for all the replies so far Dave
  9. Hey, sorry I should hav mentioned iv just replaced arms that had play in them as well so I would hope that it's nothing coming from the arms etc
  10. Cheers for the reply Chris, I got one side off ok but the other needed cut off. The reason I ask about this is cuz iv already installed the new drop links but still got knocking/clunking from the rear and my mechanic said they looked a little weird. I'll try get a pic to show, nsr side looks ok but the osr lock is sitting vertical and not "locked" against the arb. Both links feel quite loose even when the full weight of the car is on them. They're far looser than the fronts, could it b that I have a dodgy set of rear links?
  11. hey troops, just looking for a bit of help by confirming the correct installation position of the rear droplinks. they have a sort of locking washer and i am hoping someone can tell/show me how the locking washer sits when they are correctly installed for each side. a picture would be ideal! pic attached to indicate the locking washer i am talking about thanks
  12. Hi guys, can anyone confirm the correct position for the rear "lock" style washers when the rear droplink has been installed? a picture maybe? im also getting knocking from the rear, and have already replaced the droplinks for new ones, but just wanted to clarify i have them installed correctly. . . . see attached "borrowed" picture any help would be greatly appreciated Dave
  13. stunning example - a friend of mine owns a st205 and its the spit of yours! (except BPU'd) GLWTS - if i had some spare pennies, id be down there like a rat up a drain pipe! i came from a st185 myself (BPU'd), to a supe NA, i have to admint i love how bit the supe feels, and the grunt its got, but i really miss the turbo action.....like i said, if i had the pennies..! red+white really suits the car IMO. all the best
  14. crazy! ach well it wasnt meant to be!...now that i know i want to get back into this again, ive been looking around and cant find anything for a good price....i was just too late for this one! WDWTS!
  15. gutted! from a purely selfish point of view - i hope it goes pear shaped! lol
  16. i cant believe i have only just saw this advert! i would love the chance to own a piece of kit like this - i have found your ad on ebay, but ends in a cpl of days and dont think i could get the cash together in time! i checked out the roland site to see what it can do and ive fallen in love again! i used to have roland sound modules and use cubase etc with them, but then ended up going down the software synth route with Reason etc. i would love to own something like this to get me back into the swing of it all....i guess only time will tell - if its meant to be then it will still be here! i guess it wouldnt hurt to see some pictures if thats ok? if you prefer email addy let me know and ill PM you with it. cheers Dave
