anybody no the correct part num for the little clip that holds the 2 wires to the top of the coil packs found one that doesnt actually have one, the wire are just plugged in.

i like to do a lot of the stuf myself but this i do not have a clue it sounds like it is coming from the top rear of the engine, my car was reving all over and still does sometimes, i will start it up sumtimes and it will be fine, then some times the same day i will start it up and it idles at 2000rpm and somtimes evem 3000rpm... i put it down to a faulty tps at the minute. i have cleaned the icv and thatworks fine it makes all the correct noises when turning the car off.

what do i need to clean it with as it dosent look that dirty, are you on about the sensor itself or the housing that it gose on to...

just been out in the car and it has started to happen again. the car is idling at 2000rpm, does anyone no how much a new tps will cost? or if any one has a working one how much they want for it........

Hi, there i am new to all this furum stuff but here goes, i bought a 1993 jspec tt about 2 month ago and every thing was fine until yesterday, my engine has decided to go all tappy on me it sounds like it is coming from the rear top end of the engine, also the revs just flicker a little bit, dont no if that will help in the diagnostics of what is wrong. i had a slight problem with revs at idle going mad but i took the tps off and cleaned it and that problem is fine now. please can someone help it sounds like a diesel its doing my head in.

hi idid what has been said on this post and my orange engine light along with the o/d light just flashes repeatedly what does this mean -
any body answer my question please,,,,, i have got this idle problem where it is between 400-500 and it has cut out on me too. it sound quite tappy but it was fine on the last run before all these symptoms accured any one got any idears
