  1. static or idle.... i have just been looking at this and i think you set it to about 38 static and it goes to 45 ish at idle.....
  2. i dont have the original fpr it was knakered, what is the difference between a fse and a fpr, i have got one of those adjustable aeromtive fpr, it does seem to jump around abit though, what psi should it be set to....
  3. right went bpu this week with walbro pump, induction, double decat/restrictor ring.., fpr,bcc and wide band sensor and aem gauge.... right when i did the decat i took the lamba sensor off and tied it up out the way is this right, even though my aem sensor is just used to monitor the a/f mix on a gauge not hooked up to an ecu. will this cause the car to run wrong or do i need to reattach the lamba. also do i need to adjust my fpr now i have gone bpu(what psi) also i have a hole in my exhaust will this effect the reading.... im getting a new one but mean while will it.
  4. also when i do find out which wire goes where, i have installed a fcd today and was wondering how do i get a new power and ground for my greddy sld as i have used the ones on the ecu for the fcd.....
  5. got a greddy sld off sean today and was wondering if any body knows which wire does what.... looked at semi relevant things on the forum but it seems the wire colours are different, my wires are red,black,white,green... can anybody shed light on this. tom
  6. so to set it up i need to take the vaccum hose off the fpr and set it to 38psi or do i leave the vacuum hose on and set it to 38 psi whilst the car is running.
  7. i am putting a double decat on my car now i have solved my fueling problem(thanks Guys).... do i need to up the fuel pressure from 40psi or just leave it..... tom
  8. yes i no you did mate thanks for your input, i did try it but it didnt work, but there was a reason for it, it was set wrong so there was no pressure at all so the car wouldnt start so i thought that cant be write and changed it back to the wrong way where the car ran but shit, follow me..... i adjusted it and all of a sudden got a reading lol.... sorted apart from i have ordered a god dam aeromotive one that is coming now....
  9. thanks guys for all your inuts on this..... finally sorted the problem,,,, my own stupid fault i had put the fpr hoses the wrong way round... runs like a dream now, ps am definatley right in setting the fpr to 40 psi at idle right.... and that sit dont do nothing else......
  10. i think i have definatley got th e polarization right, as i just put the origanal blue + wire to the red + wire of the walbro and then the 2 black wire together..... i think it is definatley the regulator as it is reading 0 psi, just had a funny feeling last night that i may have put the inlet in the outlet and vise verser hence why it might be reading 0 psi.....
  11. yes i am getting th aeromotive fpr will this be better do you think....should be with me on thursday
  12. i havent actually took it off the drive since the bits have been added, just fired it up at idle... runs like a piece a crap.... i have just ordered a wide band kit from kylestt to check what is what with fuel mixture, also ordered new aeromotive fpr, just wondering i did disconnect the battery whilst doing all this so i imagine it will need to learn the new pattern with all the new stuff,, i have also a double decat and restrictor ring to be fitted on wednesday.... when i fit the fpr am looking to adjust it to 40 psi at idle....
  13. how do you do that...... am a beginner to be fair,
  14. the stock one was broken thats the only reason i upgraded, but i went for a fse not good so i have read,, i have just bought a better one though one of those aeromotive of summat like that... are they better. a lot of people use them on hear dont they...
  15. stock fpr and that metal line that is attached
  16. nothing still runs but the gauge still shows 0 psi..... am thinking they may be something wrong with it... am going to order one of those good ones, but i also installled a fuel pump but that should be fine i can hear it whining, one of those walbro ones... i apprieciate the help mate you got any more ideas or do you think it is buggered...
  17. anybody got a thought what this could be ......
  18. i have got a vuccum hose attached it is from the same point the the standard fpr is vacuumed... the hose is longer obviuosly to reach the back of the engine bay where the new fpr is situated. any other suggestions...
  19. it doesnt flicker all the time just when i set it to a certain point with the nut and bolt on top... it just reads 0 psi other wise, i thought it was ment to read 40 psi at idle. the nut you talk about i no is to secure the adjuster once you have adjusted it so it doesnt come loose. i lost at the minute...
