  1. Not that you want my opinion, but I think you're being a dick and massively over reacting. My perception was that a year old group buy died and a new one was potentially being started. When we had weeks of down time when Burna thought no one wanted his kit, not many of the original 40 were chomping at the bit to keep the GB going, it was the people with new interest. As far as I'm concerned, ethics has bollocks-all to do with this. If there's a misunderstanding and the original GB was always what the resurrection was about, then fine; we'll join the back of the queue and wait for other people to drop out. I didn't think it was ever exlpicitly mentioned that Burna's new kit was intended for the original 40 - I thought it was open to anyone who wanted it. I guess I was wrong on that. But I don't really care which way around it works as long as it progresses. Whatever happens, I want a new aerial on my car. If I get into a GB for this kit, then great. If that's not going to happen I'd like to know soon so I can sort something else out. I actually think it's fair and right for the GB to be offered to the original list first if this is a continuation of that GB but to say it's unethical for other people to have not made that assumption based on a year-old list is a little bit of a stretch. And to throw insults and question someone's moral fibre because they, God forbid, started a new list when they didn't know there was an all-encompassing list already set in stone, is really quite arsey.
  2. Got my calendar today. Only had a quick flick through but looks like a top job. Big thanks to all involved

  4. I might still have some as it goes. They came off a knackered set of pre-facelift J-specs (I think) and I never got round to fitting them. I've since bought some facelift rears so probably won't bother doing the conversion on the old lights.
  5. Agreed. I currently have a 1.0 bar RR fitted and boost to around 1.1 consistently. I was boosting to 1.35 before I had the RR fitted.
  6. Just been and bought a copy of PPC based on the recommendation above, so thanks for that Also noticed that Banzai this month has a decent sized article about the 'lightest road-legal Supra in the world' owned and built by a certain Ryan G. Was going to buy the mag for the story but there was nothing else of interest to me in the issue (as far as I could see) and I read most of the article in the shop Seemed like a good article and very complimentary of Ryan's efforts (a 'mapping genius' so it says!). The forum gets a mention, too, which is nice.
  7. I have one. I bought one from Paul Whiffin ages ago but didn't get round to fitting it, then lost it and bought another. Had the second one fitted and found the first. I'm currently peaking at around 1.1 now, was getting about 1.35 without one. £10 posted? They're about £16 posted from Whifbitz.
  8. Outrageous. If there was a smiley to express that sentiment, I'd stick it to you right now!
  9. For the last year I've had 2 cars and done about 12k in the other one, too I do a bit more than 250 in an average week (not including normal weekend trips out) and I've done a lot of trips around the country from Cheltenham to see friends - Sheffield, Lincoln, Barrow, Blackpool, Dorset, etc. It adds up
  10. I had no idea there was a silence. What was it for?
  11. I did not know that. Every day's a school day
  12. As far as reliability goes, both versions of the Supra are pretty exceptional. You get horror stories about poor and abused examples, much like with any car, but in general a TT Supra is not volatile in the slightest. Plenty of people have them as daily drivers without issues. I've had mine for 18months or so and done around 12k miles without even a hint of an issue (except for a stupid garage giving me an oil leak). There are several on the forum that have done over 200k miles without any major failures. While the N/A isn't supercar quick, it's not exactly slow. As far as I'm aware (although this is a much debated issue) 0-60 on the N/A is around 6.5-7s and on the TT around 5s, although the TTs acceleration after that is pretty awesome The TT is quite easily tuneable and for a couple of k outlay on top of the purchase price, you can get a car putting out ~390bhp, whereas you'd struggle to get much more than 250bhp out of an N/A (I believe) without some kind of turbo being involved (and more expense). Having said that, an N/A-TT conversion is about 3-4k (I think?), which isn't too bad if you later decide you want more power. I can vouch for the Supra auto box, which is a dream to drive. Effortless when trundling around and loads of power on tap when you need it. Go with whichever fits your bill, although with your budget, you'll get a lovely N/A quite readily and would maybe have to wait a bit longer for a really nice TT (although they do come up at that price).
  13. Top work! You have no idea how jealous I am of this project. I can't wait to start my own project... well, I can... and I will... I just don't want to
  14. If Ray really loved us, he'd get an example set made up to show us
  15. 1. AndyT 2. Westcoaster 3. Spartan 4. danhicks22 5. Any chance of pics of the polished struts?
  16. I got a passenger window regulator from Steve Manley a couple of weeks ago for £64 delivered, which I thought was pretty good. I guess drivers would be about the same. No idea on motors though.
  17. Not that I would want to imply anything, but gender was never actually mentioned...
  18. They're all boring if you don't tell the stories...
  19. I lived in the same halls as my girlfriend at Uni. We met on the first day - her laptop wouldn't connect to the network and she asked around to find someone who could fix it. I was her geek in shining armour. She had a boyfriend at the time but after 6 frustrating months she eventually came round. Six and a half years later, there still seems to be something she likes. During term time we lived in separate houses but always close (although I pretty much lived at her place most of the time). During Uni holidays and since graduation we've always lived around 100 miles apart and only seen each other at weekends. We've been together for 6 and a half years and never spent more than a few months living together at any time. Quite lucky really 'cause I'm terrified by the thought of commitment...

    My new car

Nice! Keeping it in the family too Good work.
  21. What's the next step on this? Are you still doing more investigation Burna, or are you just waiting on numbers before getting the kits together? I'd like to get one sorted soon and if your kit is ready to go, I'll happily take one.
  22. I'd be interested in mats, boot struts and glass headlights please Ray-Ray. Maybe other things if they're bargainous
  23. Always wanted one of these If only I had a licence and the spare cash and my girlfriend would let me...
