  1. It'd be interesting to see if a member who crashed their Supra in the tunnel would get the same comments about bad driving, assumptions of excessive speed and insults to their personality. He can be an arrogant cock on the football pitch but I'll reserve my judgement on his personality until I meet him. Besides, it's clearly a Saab.
  2. Do you think that's because it looks ****ing ridiculous? Would be quite good fun to drive though I imagine.
  3. Fanks. Now I feel Christmassy
  4. The home button's gone. I'm not happy.
  5. Rachel makes me feel tingly in my special place. She's perdy Cheryl Cole does nothing for me, whenever I see her I just picture Cashley instead and want to stamp on his face.
  6. Definitely worth knowing, thanks!
  7. Cheers for that Ben! I'll write it all down so I can quiz the seller about it. My preference is definitely for a VAG car, just that there don't seem to be any for sale in my area within my budget. There seem to be loads of Mondeos on the other hand and far more lower priced/higher spec cars for less money. I'm also torn between getting something cheap to just 'get by' and getting something nice that I'll enjoy owning.
  8. Hi all, I'm currently looking at getting second car that I can commute in and use through the winter, for reasons of saving me money and making sure I don't write off the Supra in the wet/ice (had a couple of scares in the last few weeks and would rather not risk the car or myself driving it in the cold weather). Also after something a little more practical (i.e. hatchback, saloon or maybe estate). I'm looking at diesels and have found a couple I'm considering that fit into my budget. I've found a Mondeo 2.0TDCi and a Seat Leon Cupra TDi. Both seem to be at a good price but they are high mileage. The Mondeo is an 02 plate with 130k miles (mainly motorway) and the Leon is 04 with 123k miles (also mainly motorway). The Leon is ridiculously low priced as the seller needs to part-ex for a van (he's been offered 2.5k) and the Mondeo is 1.5k. I'm hoping to see them both this weekend. Does anyone have any experience with these cars, in particular with high mileage examples? There are a lot of Mondeos around so could probably find one with lower mileage, slightly more expensive but the Leon is a one-off that is quite tempting. I've always liked the Cupras. I've also tried looking at VW Boras, Seat Toledos and Vauxhall Astras but there are hardly any around my area and none that have the right mileage/price/spec combination. They just aren't as good value as Mondeos. I've done some Googling but not really found anything other than the `if it's been looked after it will probably be fine` general consensus. Any opinions/advice? Cheers, Dan.
  9. All the quotes I had before getting my TT gave me the same price on a TT as NA so I'm guessing they've just put it down as a standard TT. Maybe your policy will change the car type but with the coincidence that the price is the same. I don't know if the fact that it's modified to get it to be a TT should mean it costs more than if it were a TT originally?
  10. 14. I got caught up in being angry about the last question not being a single sequence and failed to spot the second one. Maths and further maths a-level clearly didn't prepare me well enough for the advanced nature of 11+.
  11. I've PMd Nic about a GB and Gaz from Envy about the aluminium trays.
  12. Cool, I was expecting to pay about that - definitely don't want to pay for a new one. Cheers for your help!
  13. I know - it seemed rather steep to me. What should I expect to pay second hand?
  14. Just get some 2nd hand wheels that are already curbed - that way, when you add your own special touches, it doesn't matter 'cause they were already fooked I've lost count of the number of times I've done mine - the Supe is a tad wider than my old Astra it seems! Mind you, I did once curb the Astra at 60... I was quoted £100 per wheel for my 5 spokes when I looked into it, so fingers crossed you'll find someone cheaper!
  15. Cheers, I've just sent him a PM.
  16. Group buy might be nice. I had a quote from Fensports for a new one - £206.78 + VAT, which seems a little steep to me.
  17. Oooh! I'll have them if Wrath doesn't. Sorry for the hijack!

    New TV needed

My TV: http://www.froogle.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=SAMS-LE40A656 It's awesome. 2 guys from work that I know have this one and love them, too. I also know a guy who has the 52" version and it's incredible. Blu-ray on it is staggering. It's fecking huge though. He put his old 32" against it and it would fit the old screen inside the new one 4 times. You can't get a higher spec for the price (or even close to it). It was by far the best LCD I came across when I was looking. Looks pretty damn sexual as well.
  19. Morning all. I've managed to get a big hole in my undertray and need to replace it. It's currently held securely in place by lots of attractive white gaffer tape I believe it may be 'undertray 1' in the EPC, but it's the big one that actually sits under the engine itself. Would be interested in a stock one or an aluminium one, depending on price. Cheers, Dan.
  20. I've not read any of Darryl's stuff, can someone point me in the direction?
  21. 22, eh? It seems such a long time ago for me... Happy Birthday
