  1. Good on you for taking a rescue dog and for going to get another. Here in Mexico City it really pisses me off seeing hundreds of beautiful stray dogs in the street starving and then you go to the local markets and there are scumbags with 50 puppyies in a small cage climbing all over each other and covered in shit. How can the government allow them to sell more dogs when the streets are full of unwanted dogs. Yesterday I was at a cafe and a beautiful, female, maltese terrier came up to me, she was no more than 6 months old, I gave her my dinner and people were looking at me like I was crazy. It infuriated me when a mother walking her daughter passed the dog and said "ten cuidado" to her daughter which means Be Careful! and I responded Be Careful with what, it is a starving puppy. They teach their kids to be scared of animals. Yes it is a poor city but they are obviously not short of food judging by the obesity rate of children here. Thanks god we lived in a civilized country where animals are, in the main, respected and it is thanks to guys like you.
  2. cant go far wrong with mine then, stock apart from oem skirts and spats and wheels, low mileage too
  3. there were some really painful ones. The girl and boy on the bike going over the ramp, the shoplifter getting a roundhouse in the face, the guy going head first into the mudbank when trying to jump it with his quad. Just shows me how stupid people are.
  4. I saw this happen in January on the M25 between upminster and lakeside. I heard the screeching and saw smoke just 500 yards on the distance on the opposite side of the motorway, a Clio (coincidence) wa stuck to the front bumper of the truck and it was still moving forward. I could see the couple inside, they didn't look terrified at all, just kind of surprised but really calm. There was a lot of smoke in the accident I saw.
  5. hi john, would you sell the wheels separately?
  6. As (not has) someone pointed out, your wheels are definitely the wrong offset for a supra and that makes the gap between the wheels and arches seem bigger and subsequently raising the ride height will make it look terrible.
  7. To all you knowledgeable guys out there, what is the longest lasting single turbo set up that has been known in the UK (in terms of miles covered)? Anyone know the answer? maybe someone knows the longest lasting on stock internals and also modified bottom end? Just curious as I have not really seen any setups that stand the test of time and by that I mean to endure more than 100k+ miles. thanks guys
  8. to the thread starter, you should always go with the wheels you want, it is your car.
  9. The only thing i dont really like is the way you have listen the mods. All engine mods are in a paragraph, I think they would be better as bullet points. Nice car
  10. like you said, live with no regrets, i wish i had made some more adventurous decisions in my early twenties.
  11. they are actually doing the opposite in many cases, they are throwing money at people because the government are acting as their guarantor should the loanee not keep up with payments.
  12. Yes it is Quicksilver. Thanks for the price comparison, I honestly had no idea Scooter went to view the car for me as I was living in Spain, really appreciated and thanks for your post.
  13. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=211344 might be selling mine when i return to england.
  14. Looks more like Usher with more hair
  15. I cant take pics now because I am in Mexico and getting married but I have a few on photobucket and i have attached them below. My car is a completely stock 98 R reg RZ-S TT Auto Tiptronic VVTi apart from the wheels and the OEM skirts and spats, spoilerless (but I have a TRD copy still packaged in my garage), 2 sets of wheels, 18in italian wheels that JIC used to put on many of their supras (I cant for the life of me remember the name of them now) and 19in wheelmania vortex r alloys. The car has full history including all the import documents when it was originally imported by JIC. Full leather, 38,000 miles. As for price, I do not have a clue, I have not seen many Tiptronic supras for sale, I bought her for £11k about 2 and a half years ago, I guess around £8k but I dont know, maybe others can shed some light on the price of a car of this spec. regards Nick
  16. I am thinking of selling mine when I return from Mexico because I am moving out of the family home. 98 R reg, only 38,000 miles, tiptronic auto vvti, quicksilver, full leather.
  17. Yeah they all seemed to peel and flake unless they were looked after every single day. That laquer stuff that they put on the rim in useless. That is why I refurbed them.
  18. are you a Greek Aussie then, you look Greek from the distant photos and there are lots of my fellow Greeks out there. So your mate is Adam Federici? he is an excellent shotstopper.
  19. They are 19" wheels but I dont kno the offsets because I bought them from a member on here and I had them in my garage in spain for 2 years before returning to england and refurbing them.
  20. ok, I should be back in the second week of april, I take some more pics for you because there are a couple of little marks on them. Speak to you then Nick
  21. Yeah I am thinking about selling them if you dont mind being patient because I am in Mexico until early april. I have attached some pics that I had on my computer. I bought them for £700 and they cost me about £300 to refurb and i put 2 new goodyear eagles on the rears costing me £300 only for my dad to burst one on a brick that was sticking out on our driveway. So really they need 3 new tyres so I am only looking for £500, if you are interested then let me know and I'll take some more pictures for you when I get back to England.
