yeah there is an off switch on my standard j-spec slip-defferential and it is fucking dangerous with it switched off...i thought i'd try it and I had a power slide after 10 secs ha ha

Racelogic TC sounds fantastic especially for me cause me supra is very tail-happy

yeah he is going to tell the court that I have driven his son around safely for the past 6 years and that he believes it was a one-off....dont know what that will do...but what do the fuckers in court know. I hardly ever speed, obviously the supra has helped me to break some limits more often than I would have done in my other cars but I generally drive very safely...but they dont care about that...they just after some convictions and some cash

Dont worry Thorin I am getting a nice £18,000 windfall in the next 3 weeks for selling the flat I bought 11 months ago for a nice profit (but I cant spend all of this on my car...I would if I could but my dad would kill me coz I'm supposed to be investing in a new business). ha ha, suggesting I'm a bad driver haha...just messing.....but I know what u mean, I have had the rear end slide out a few times even doing 40 mph round a 45 degree turn...prolly coz my tyres are shite stock ones...might have better traction once the bigger 19" pirelli P0 rossos arrive in 3 weeks with my new wheels. how much is Racelogic TC and how does it work better than the stock j-spec slip differential (or are they even the same thing? coz I am useless with car parts and functions)

So how much does the wild Hybrid upgrade set you back? And can you tell me if there are any other mods I need to make in conjunction with this to compensate for the increase in power (apart from the wastegate- which I will follow your advice and get done). Can you tell me what changing the intercooler pipes from the stock rubber does for the car? cheers guys, you are all great and have a lot of time for us newbies!

Just looking for a bit of expext input on how to best spend my money. I dont need any exterior or interior styling done. The car has a de-cat exhaust and extensive fuel line work by chris wilson, and some sorta HKS boost guage (excuse me for being ignorant about my own car),, the larger English brake callipers are also present, so I was just looking for some advice on where to go next to improve performance without making the car unreliable. I dont want suspension work done just yet although I am definitely going to do that within the next year. Any opinions are welcome cheers

lovatt, the 19" wheels i had on which caused me all the problems were wheelmania MRD'S i think...but the fucking assholes sent me celica fitment wheels instead of supra...then to correct this they sent me the german hub locator spacers......but they didnt even include the right bolts with the spacers. I still have the wheels if anyone has a celica or knows anyone with a celica...and I will give them away very cheap...a few hundred quid.....and 2 of them have new tyres...well all 4 do but the back ones have come away from the rim.

well the bolts did not line up with the holes so german hub locator spacers were required to change where the bolts were fitted....and this caused a massive problem for my back tyres....the inside was actually coming away from the rim...and the guy at jet tyres told me it would happen every 3 or 4 months because of the spacers.......I had quite thick spacers....but it never caused a problem with the front tyres. The problem I have is that I wanna buy my wheels from the states cause they have a great wheel and tyre package for top quality wheels...only coat about £1200 including shipping for racinghart wheels....and I cant find these wheels in England....even if I could they would still be cheaper to ship them over. Does anyone know a decent place for reasonably priced alloys?

i had some 19"inch wheels on the car but they required spaces because the bolt pattern was wrong, but this caused a big problem because after a few months the tyres started to come off from the inside of the back wheels....and obviously buying new wheels I dont want this to happen again

OK thorin thanks, but lets say I bought some wheels that were 18" and meant for a jap supra,what effect do the bigger brake pads have on the offset......I have very little knowledge about cars apart from driving them haha cheers

Hi everyone, I am new to the site. I bought the black T-reg jap supra from mark partridge back in august and I need a little technical help if anyone is willing to offer. I'm getting some new wheels and I need to know whether wheels made to fit a jap supra also fit a jap supra with the bigger english brake pads.....if anyone can help I would appreciate it. thanx Nick
