  1. In my supra I love when there is a two lane entry to a motorway and all the cars are in the left hand lane, you just floor it and fly past all of them, gives me a buzz doing that, just seem to kick past 10 cars inabout 4 or 5 secs and I love seeing some of their faces when I look in the rear view mirror. Funniest look I ever saw was when the Porsche Boxter S was behind me while we were both in the overtaking lane of a dual carriageway, he had a big grin on his face thinking that when the cars in front of me moved over and I moved over that he would fly past, turned out to his poor embarassment that by the time I had floored it to 80 he was 4 car length back, and becuase he was embarassed he stayed well back going about 60 mph, so I slowed down for him so I could see the look on his face (dejected and owned), made my day. Just because his car is called a porsche he thought he was the b***ox, but I would hardly rate a boxster alongside a 911 carrera, but unfortunately the people who buy them do.
  2. my sup was tuned to 1.1 bar at the time, subaru was the quick sti version, dont know about other supras but when my first turbo came in it would take off nearly as noticeably (spell??) as the second.
  3. never really driven a subaru but I know when my first turbo came in on my supra it was awesome and regularly caned subaru's, and although its been said many times that a subaru would beat a supra away from the lights along with other cars like a GTiR etc, I have never been beaten by any car, maybe due to bad driving on their part, porsche boxster S was no match. Can I ask if you had it in manual mode and used the gears? There should be a very slight pause then the power kicks in, and the 0-60 figures suggest that there is very little difference between the TT 6-sp and the TT auto.
  4. yep leave 3 holes on either side. Spoiler is easy to remove. Just pull off the plastic lining inside the boot below the window and u will see the bolts. Hole cant be temporarily covered using rubber thingys he he.....if u like it without the spoiler then get the holes welded and painted.
  5. current wishbone got broken when my car slammed sideways into a kurb because of some little punk who walked in front of my car on purpose....Punk has since been terminated.
  6. got a second hand one for £175.....quite a lot but I need the bloody car back soon....thanks anyway for the suggestion Gavin
  7. Just been told by the guy thats fixing my car that he spoke to Toyota and my j-spec supra requires a special wishbone from Belgium that costs £300 instead of the normal £120 they cost....is this right? Anyone disagree with this?
  8. well who are you ashley to say whether wheels are nice or not....if other people like them then thats their choice.....u like yours and thats your choice to and I wont make any comment on them
  9. B1SEP, you are fitting the RLTC to my 98 VVTi on Tuesday, would you rather know some details about the car first? Its a 98 VVTi but wasnt registered till 99.
  10. i live just a few miles from kent...about 2 miles from the QE2 bridge near lakeside. and yes I need clearance from traffic control b4 I land my beast!
  11. and its only been 1 and a half days aswell LOL.......good huh!!!
  12. Pilot, well firt I am not the type of person who takes offence to peoples judgements cause I know what I am and I know what I'm not, and at the end of the day its peoples opinion and everyone is welcome to one without me worrying, and I did post the pic for peoples opinions even though at the end of the day the only opinion that matters is mine. My girlfriend even hates it haha
  13. very interested as I'm looking at some big mods soon and I'm already paying £1000 with no engine mods
  14. Earth, I'm up for that....not met anyone with a supra before and it'd be nice to see other peoples cars. Is that a sat night? I just went 120 leptons about 5 mins ago and handling was good as ever but its very windy out tonight.
  15. what u mean in person or u want me to send u pics via pm?
  16. thanks.....first compliment out of 60 replies ha ha
  17. fantastic, how much do they charge? B1SEP, when I come down can I talk to you about engine mods I'm looking at getting done....like hybrids, FMIC etc...?
  18. hmmm....just stay away from the exhaust and petrol tank:devil:
  19. lol Flip...believe it or not but I actually love the spoiler...otherwise I wouldnt have put it on....I had plenty of time to think about it and went ahead with it LOL. We have a friend who owns a body shop so prolly a good idea to ask him....and to repair the bleeding scratches on the left side where i scraped along my dads car on the drive...NICE!
  20. ds, maybe its just that the other car has a body kit and graphic that makes it look better, or maybe the fact that its a 700bhp+ car overrides people judgement ha ha
  21. thats funny because its the same spoiler....the stands are exactly the same height and they are both bi-plane wings......hmmmm
  22. can anyone tell me how to cover the holes left by the removal of my stock spoiler. there are 3 holes each side, 2 of the holes are round and the middle one is more oval shaped. They currently have these little rubber things in the holes but I'm looking for something a little more reliable.
  23. thats what I'm doing....gotta spend the whole day in kent on tuesday while mine is fitted.....fun yay!!!
